The Pets Foundation, registered as the Pets at Home Foundation charity numbers 1104152 & SC052589.

We passionately believe that every pet deserves a loving forever home. Over the years, we are proud to have worked alongside rescue, and rehoming organisations across the country who strive to help pets in need find their forever loving homes. In 2021, we broadened our objectives, allowing us to support charities that work alongside pets and the people who love them. We will strive to work alongside like-minded partners to help those people who benefit either through the addition of a pet or through time spent with them.

🐾 Meet Daisy, Luna, Albie, Lou Lou and Schmidt 🐾

Each of these wonderful pets arrived at Pennine Pen Animal Rescue needing a little extra care to help them thrive.

Earlier this year, our £10,000 grant helped the rescue provide essential veterinary treatment and preventative healthcare for animals just like these. Daisy and Luna received much-needed dental work, Albie had her skin checked and nails trimmed, Lou Lou's matted coat was shaved to keep her comfortable, and little Schmidt received his vaccinations to give him the best possible start in life.

🌟 From a galaxy not so far away... 🌟

Rose was just a year old when she arrived at RSPCA Buckinghamshire South underweight, heavily pregnant and in need of help.

A week later, she welcomed six tiny Jedi-in-training: Chewy, Trooper, Storm, Rebel, Sky Walker and Wookie. Thanks to the rescue team, each kitten received the care they needed before embarking on their next adventure to a forever home.

In July, we supported RSPCA Buckinghamshire South with a £12,000 grant, helping them provide life-changing care for vulnerable pets like Rose and her young Padawans.

Storm and Chewy, the last kittens waiting for a home, have now been adopted. Now it's Rose's turn to find the loving family she deserves. May the Force be with you, Rose.💚

🐾 Today's National Black Cat Day!

Did you know black cats can wait up to three times longer to find their forever homes than other cats?

Today, we're celebrating these gorgeous cats and busting a few common myths:

🐈‍⬛ Myth: Black cats bring bad luck
✨ Truth: They bring love, companionship, and plenty of purrs!

📸 Myth: They're less photogenic
🖤 Truth: Their sleek, shiny coats make for stunning photos!

Let's show black cats some love today! 🐾 Do you have a black moggie? Share a photo in the comments.

🏃‍♀️ Going the extra 13.1 miles for pets in need! 🏃‍♀️

A massive well done to our four incredible Great North Run participants who completed the world's biggest half marathon on 13 September and raised an amazing £1,640 for the Pets Foundation.

We caught up with one of our runners, Katie, who proudly wore her Pets Foundation t-shirt on race day: "Thanks for giving us the opportunity. I really enjoyed being able to run such a huge race whilst raising funds for the Pets Foundation."

Thank you all for your dedication, fundraising and support. 👏

🐾 Meet Suki 🐾

Suki first came to Sandbach Animal Rescue Society in 2019 after being found as a stray kitten. She was soon adopted and spent many happy years in a loving home.

Sadly, in March 2026, Suki returned to the rescue when her owner developed dementia and could no longer care for her. Thanks to Sandbach Animal Rescue's adoption agreement, she always had a safe place to return to when she needed it most.

Now 9 years old, Suki is receiving specialist care for an eye condition that is being closely monitored, while enjoying all the love and comfort the rescue can provide as she waits for her next chapter.

Thanks to our £20,787 grant awarded to Sandbach Animal Rescue earlier this year, cats like Suki can receive the care, comfort and support they need, with a safe place to turn when life takes an unexpected turn. 💚

Meet Luna 🐴

When Luna arrived at Eat, Sleep, Ride, she was untrained, timid, and had made a two-day journey from a field in the south of England.

It took six weeks before the team could even brush her, but with patience, consistency, and kindness, Luna slowly began to trust.

Then something special happened. A young girl who had recently lost her mother started visiting the rescue. Week after week, the pair formed an incredible bond. Luna settled with her in a way she hadn't with anyone else, and together they helped each other heal.

Earlier this year, we were proud to award Eat Sleep Ride a £4,084 grant to support veterinary costs and feed. This funding helped give Luna the care, training and support she needed to find her forever home with the young girl and her family.

💚 Meet Rocco! 🐶

Earlier this year, we awarded Staffie Smiles Rescue a £10,000 grant to help support the vital work they do rescuing and rehoming dogs in need.

Rocco was just nine months old when he arrived in their care. His previous owner was struggling to manage his energetic nature and felt unable to give him the support he needed.

Thanks to Staffie Smiles, Rocco received all the veterinary care he required, including a health check, neutering, microchipping, and flea and worm treatments. Once his assessments were complete, he was ready to begin the next chapter of his journey.

Today, Rocco is thriving in his forever home. With ongoing training, structure, and plenty of love, he has grown into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted dog. 💚
