Wow, it's definitely another scorcher today, we are trying to keep cool today, fans on full, cooling mats, bi-fold doors are open, thankfully the back off the house stays pretty cold..
Keep your poochii's cool & safe. 😎

☀️🔥 HEAT WARNING FOR POOCHII’S 🔥☀️

It’s going to be an absolute scorcher this weekend, so please keep a close eye on your doggies in the heat 🐶🧡

If it feels too hot for you… it’s definitely too hot for them.

🐾 Please avoid walking your dogs during the hottest parts of the day.
Early morning or later evening walks are much safer when temperatures are cooler.

🚫 Remember…
Concrete, pavements and tarmac can become EXTREMELY hot and can burn your dog’s paw pads in seconds.

☀️ Air Temperature vs Ground Temperature ☀️
• 25°C air temp = pavements can reach around 50°C+
• 31°C air temp = tarmac can reach around 60°C+

That’s hot enough to cause painful burns very quickly 😢

🖐️ A good rule:
Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds.
If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws.

💧 Keep fresh water available at all times
🌳 Stick to shaded areas
🚗 NEVER leave dogs in cars – even for a few minutes
🐶 Flat-faced breeds, puppies, senior dogs and dogs with health conditions are especially vulnerable in hot weather

⚠️ Signs of heatstroke can include:
Panting, excessive drooling, lethargy, vomiting, wobbling, confusion or collapse.

Please stay safe this weekend and keep those tails wagging safely 🧡🐾

🌈🐾In Loving Memory of Lord Luca 🐾🌈

Today we say goodbye to a very special little gentleman… our beloved Lord Luca 🐾

For over 2 and a half years, Luca wasn’t just a guest at Wagmore Boutique Boarding… he was part of our family. A true VIP of the Wagmore pack, gracing us with his presence time and time again, sometimes every single month. It won’t be the same without him 💔

At 15 years young, Luca lived a beautiful life filled with love, comfort, and so many tail-wagging stays. He had the kindest soul, the sweetest nature, and a presence that brought calm, warmth, and a little touch of royalty to our home 🐶👑

Tonight, he has gained his wings and crossed the rainbow bridge 🌈
No doubt he’s already been reunited with his partner in crime, Mitzy Moo, causing mischief together once again 🐾💞

Run free, precious boy… no more aches, just endless zoomies, sunshine, and treats over the bridge.

You will always be part of the Wagmore family, and you will never, ever be forgotten.

Happy Fluffing Friday, Poochi's & Peeps! 🐾

It’s been a little while since we’ve done one of these… life got a bit chaotic juggling two phones full of photos, muddy paws, wagging tails and general doggy shenanigans! 😅

But I’m thinking it might be time to bring Fluffing Friday back.

Every Friday we used to share the week’s antics here at Wagmore Boutique Boarding — the zoomies, the snoozes, the mischief, and all the adorable moments in between.
