💜 Good Morning, Poochii's & Peeps! 💜

Well... yesterday Wagmore Boutique Boarding turned 4! 🥳🐾

Where has that time gone? I honestly can't believe how far this little business has come, and I'm so incredibly proud of what we've built over the last four years.

I absolutely love my job. It's hard work, but it's one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. From endless cuddles, zoomies, playtime, woodland walks, belly rubs and bedtime snuggles... to cleaning up the occasional wee and poo...! 🤦🏼‍♀️😂🤢

Every wagging tail that comes through our door becomes part of the Wagmore Boutique family, and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you for trusting Uncle P and me with your precious poochii's.

Here's to the next chapter, making more memories, welcoming more happy wagging tails, and continuing to give every guest a true home-from-home stay. 💜🐾

🐾 ADMIN ASSISTANT OF THE DAY 🐾

Yesterday, whilst I took Bailey to the vets, I left his brother Rolo in charge of the office... 💻

I think it's safe to say he took his role very seriously! 🤣

Emails were checked, enquiries were supervised, and quality control inspections of the laptop were carried out thoroughly. Although I'm not entirely sure what he ordered online... 🙈

Don't worry though, I returned before he could approve unlimited treat rations for all guests! 🐶

Safe to say Rolo has earned Employee of the Month. 🏆🐾

Wow, it's definitely another scorcher today, we are trying to keep cool today, fans on full, cooling mats, bi-fold doors are open, thankfully the back off the house stays pretty cold..
Keep your poochii's cool & safe. 😎

☀️🔥 HEAT WARNING FOR POOCHII’S 🔥☀️

It’s going to be an absolute scorcher this weekend, so please keep a close eye on your doggies in the heat 🐶🧡

If it feels too hot for you… it’s definitely too hot for them.

🐾 Please avoid walking your dogs during the hottest parts of the day.
Early morning or later evening walks are much safer when temperatures are cooler.

🚫 Remember…
Concrete, pavements and tarmac can become EXTREMELY hot and can burn your dog’s paw pads in seconds.

☀️ Air Temperature vs Ground Temperature ☀️
• 25°C air temp = pavements can reach around 50°C+
• 31°C air temp = tarmac can reach around 60°C+

That’s hot enough to cause painful burns very quickly 😢

🖐️ A good rule:
Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds.
If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for paws.

💧 Keep fresh water available at all times
🌳 Stick to shaded areas
🚗 NEVER leave dogs in cars – even for a few minutes
🐶 Flat-faced breeds, puppies, senior dogs and dogs with health conditions are especially vulnerable in hot weather

⚠️ Signs of heatstroke can include:
Panting, excessive drooling, lethargy, vomiting, wobbling, confusion or collapse.

Please stay safe this weekend and keep those tails wagging safely 🧡🐾
