Dogsbody are highly qualified and professional dog groomers with over 10 years experience. Kristina has completed her level 3 diploma in Dog Grooming, and has now started her ICMG (International Certified Master Groomer) qualification, which is the highest in our industry. After long local walks or fun filled beach days your dog can relax by our open fire. Your dog stays in our home and is treated like part of our family. The environment is safe, secure, calm, quiet and super clean. Rest assured your dogs stay will be filled with fun and love as it should be. We come from a family of dog lovers, our family are first aid trained and experienced dog handlers with over 50 years experience.

This fluffy boy came in yesterday for our 1-2-1 sessions.

Underneath all that lovely fur were a lot of mats due to coat change as he’s getting older. It can happen even when you brush your dog regularly. We decided the best thing to do was to start again with his coat.

Perfect time of year for it I’d say!

We are constantly monitoring the weather.

We will be making contact with some clients booked in over the next few days to rearrange appointments due to hot weather.

Grooming elderly, brachycephalic or very young dogs in high heat can be extremely dangerous and we will not put your dogs at risk.

We will be opening the salon early this week and we will be in touch today to offer an alternative appointment if we think you have an at risk dog.

We’ve had the most amazing 9 years so far! Met so many wonderful furiends. I can honestly say I have never laughed or smiled so much in any job.

Where do I start .. It’s been a crazy 9 years!

I took over Dogsbody back in August 2010, just 3 days after my 20th birthday! I was terrified, coming from college, I had a fairly good knowledge of dog grooming, and animal care.

I spent most of the first year, developing my skills - A lot of the first year was sitting waiting for the phone to ring, but word of mouth helped me get where I am today. I was in a tiny salon attached to Tesco some of you may remember it.
