Gorgeous boy Sammy has been recently rehomed with an existing customer, so he had his first groom Here at Drybrook today.
He required a good deshedding and a light scissor tidy and....
He loved it! I can honestly say he's a tiny bundle of joy.
What a little treasure indeed 💖

New little lad Rupert had his first ever groom today here at Drybrook Dog Groomers.
Rupert is a cavalier king Charles x poodle with a very wavey spaniel coat.
Thus requiring a complete body scissor by hand and carding to keep his coat in tip top condition 👌
Such a beautiful boy 😍

New little lad Bear attended for his 1st time here at Drybrook today for a fixer groom, after a session elsewhere.
A slightly nervous but sweet, loving little chap, he will fit in with our grooming family very nicely😍 I am confident with a little practice, a little coat growth, a good schedule and the more he gets to know me he's going to be a pro in no time .

Frankie enjoyed his walkies before coming for his groom today. Here at Drybrook Dog Groomers we love to see our cuties have been having fun.
Little beauty Billy is an older chap with a sweet personality. A loving little boy who is always ready for hugs.
Dolly is one happy girl for her grooms here, she loves to be pampered and of course her wish is my command.

Today here at the salon, New lad Pip did very well for his first groom ever! He certainly will feel much better ready for warmer weather 🤞
Some of you might remember little Holly, she attended a while ago for a fixer groom and we are slowly growing her hair back into style. Her 2nd visit at Drybrook today and she was amazing. We managed a little extra length today although it's going to take a while.
Regulars Barney and Hamish enjoyed their pampers and are looking fabulous❤️

Nail sessions

Nail clipping only sessions here at Drybrook Dog Groomers are currently £12.
These sessions are usually done at the end of the day/late afternoon when our other little beauties have all gone home for the day.

There is no real way of knowing how fast individuals nails grow as each Dog is different. If left unchecked your pet may suffer with an inturned or embedded nails, as i have seen today. This is usually the dew claw or outside nail but in older pets it is especially important to keep a close eye on Nail growth at home. As your pet ages they are often unable to walk as far, in some breeds the toes will naturally spread over time meaning the nails are not worn down naturally. This is often and easily missed at home so please remember to periodically check your pets feet for any issues.
We can usually fit you in for a Nail trim pretty quickly, either here at Drybrook or our sister salon Hudsons in ruardean.

Please let us know if you require this service.
*nail clipping is included in a full groom as standard.

Today has been a Doodle day! 😍

Gentle giant Maverick and the beautiful Merlin 😍 They each have very different but lovely coats which means they are groomed very differently, though they are both gorgeous Labradoodles.
Doodles are very diverse in looks, different colours and sizes, my boys were amazing today for their full grooms.

🐶Information for existing customers

As many of you know last year we froze our pricing to assist everyone where possible with the current cost of living increases.
Unfortunately this year we are unable to continue to keep pricing frozen due to the rising costs for the business.
From April there will be a small increase to help us to cover this.
£2 -£4 per dog which will vary individual to individual.
We strive to keep our price scale competitive and fair to all and it is very important to us that groom quality is never affected for our customers.

Little Diesel enjoyed his pamper and deshed here at Drybrook Dog Groomers today.
He is definitely gaining in confidence with his regular grooming sessions and enjoys cuddles as a plus 😍 He is a handsome chap!
Short haired breeds such as Jrt, pugs, bulldogs etc benefit from regular maintenance through grooming to remove dead hair and excess dirt and oils on the skin which can cause itching or other skin issues.

Drybrook Dog Groomers is officially back to normal business after rectifying the plumbing issues from earlier in the week 🙂
Our books are currently open for new customers small/medium breeds.
With February coming to a close, March sessions are now avaliable to book.
All regular customers remain on their usual schedules.

Today here at Drybrook Dog Groomers has been a tad different, we have experienced major plumbing issues which are currently in the process of being addressed.
I'd like to thank customers whom I've had to reschedule for being so very understanding in my time of crisis.
Also new little lad jasper was amazing as he was the only dog groomed today (I realised the issue mid groom) and amid the chaos he was a little trooper. Such a sweet chap! I love him!!!!
I expect all issues to be resolved hopefully by end of business tomorrow 🤞🤞

Thanks again guys, I am so fortunate to have such great clients.
