We are thrilled to welcome the Kitty Cat Cafe to the Kittilitt party 🎉!!

Fab new collaboration!

We have been trialling new cat litter for the past month and are now delighted to announce our latest partnership with a well established local business. Kittilitt cat litter are a brand based in Girvan who have built their brand based on 3 core values; sustainability, quality and service.

Their cat litter is eco friendly, highly absorbant and excellent value for money. We have tried multiple cat litters since we opened last year and this one is by far the best.

They have also been awarded the only globally recognised Certification Mark of Sustainability as they are part of UNESCO’s Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere Reserve.

Receiving our first delivery of half a pallet has been the highlight of our week! Looks like Carlos is in the background checking it out!

There’s going to be a 10% initial order discount for cafe customers coming in the near future making it even more affordable.

Thank you Kittilitt and their owner company Land Energy for such a positive partnership. We’re always looking to expand our work with local businesses and are delighted with our latest collaboration.

Not all cats need folded ears or flat faces to be fabulous. In fact, some of those features can lead to a lifetime of pain due to genetic defects. Despite their rising popularity online, these cats often suffer from joint issues and arthritis.

Cat facts:
👉 45% of new cats in the UK are now pedigrees.
👉 Only 43% are domestic short- or long-haired.
👉 Moggies still make up 58% of UK cats, but that number is dropping.

🌞 This weekend is going to be a scorcher. Here's a few tips on how to keep your feline friend cool 🐾👇👇

✅ Fresh water everywhere – add ice cubes!
✅ Let them rest on cool tiles or damp towels
✅ Try a cooling mat
✅ Close blinds & use fans to cool rooms
✅ Brush regularly to remove excess fur
✅ Avoid active play during peak heat

And remember, watch for signs of overheating: panting, lethargy, drooling. And remember to call your vet if you're worried.
