Today is to be hotter than yesterday so please keep in mind puppers don’t sweat to cool down they pant and lose heat from their paws . 🐾 The pavements yesterday were as hot as 40* in some places so please keep your puppers safe by keeping them indoors with your windows open and curtains closed . Place a wet towel for them to lay on in a cool shady place in the garden if they want to be outside and make sure they have access to water at all times as they will dehydrate quickly in this heat ! Have a great day , stay safe and enjoy the sunshine while it’s here ❤️❤️

Morning everyone

With temperatures set to soar into the mid/high 20s today all walks will be cut short if I feel any of the puppers are starting to feel hot.
The van stays pretty cool with the extractor fan being there when it’s moving but can start to get warm when I’m stopped so it will only be a quick hello if your home ,please don’t think I’m being rude when I dash off !
If you have fat free yogurt in the house spread some onto the bottom of a tub if you don’t have a lick mat and freeze it for a nice cool treat for your fur baby to cool off while you enjoy an ice cream !
Have a fantastic day in the sunshine don’t forget suncream for you and a cool wet towel in the shade for pup to lie on ###

!! Warning!!
If your pupper is partial to chewing on grass please be aware that victory park is covered in toadstools which can be highly toxic to dogs !
This is a lesson learned from me to you all as our silly big pupper stupidly ate one and needed emergency care late Sunday night ! Thankfully he is absolutly fine and we can’t thank County Vets enough for being there for him ###

Morning everyone
Just a wee reminder to make sure your puppers are up to date with Flea and tick prevention from your vets as they are rife just now, 3 dogs in the last 2 days have had to have ticks removed !
Unfortunately it’s not always possible to stay in town or at the beaches and staying in the shade of the woods is safer for the puppers .
I hope you’ve all enjoyed this great weather that we’ve had and are looking forward to seeing some much needed wet stuff from the sky tomorrow xx

Morning all
With this weather set to stay for the next few days all afternoon walks will be classed as drop ins where the puppers will be in the garden if you have one or a short shaded grass walk for no more than 15 mins . Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but better safe than sorry . Morning and lunch walks will be as normal but may be cut short if I feel puppers have had enough ❤️❤️
