Our beautiful Olive 💔

It breaks our hearts to be writing this… we’ve had to say goodbye to another of our precious walking doggies, sweet Olive. 🌈😭

Olive was pure joy, one of the kindest, gentlest, and friendliest souls you could ever meet. She adored her walks, from wrestling with her bestie Arlo on her group walks with me (Danni), to the slow, sniffy strolls she shared with Jo and Bronson. Every moment with her was a gift. 🐾

Her passing has left us in complete shock. We can’t stop thinking about her, or her lovely family, and the huge hole she leaves behind. 💔

The dogs we walk truly are part of our family, and losing one is like losing a piece of ourselves. Olive’s cheeky little ways brought us so much laughter, whether it was chasing pheasants, or sunbathing in the garden long into the evening on her sleepovers. We feel so lucky to have shared those moments with her, and to know she had the fun, happy walks she deserved.

It’s a comfort to know that Jo was able to kiss her on the head and tell her she was loved by us, one last time after their walk together on Wednesday. ❤️

Olive, you will always be loved and remembered by all of us at Cassie & Co. You’ll forever hold a place in our hearts, and we will never forget you. 💔❤️

We’ve been in puppy heaven recently !🥰
Simba has been part of the Cassie and Co gang for a few weeks now but he’s been on drop ins until he was old enough to join us on walks, he’s finally able to come out and absolutely LOVED his first group walk! Welcome Simba!! 🦁

Happy birthday to the CEO, the reason Cassie & Co even exists! 💛

I honestly don’t have the words to explain how special this dog is.
Cassie isn’t just my dog, she’s the heart of everything I do. Without her, I wouldn’t be able to help half as many of my customers and their dogs. Watching her gently guide other dogs through their reactivity, helping them just be dogs… it’s one of the most beautiful things I will ever witness.

She is unbelievably in tune with other dogs, their behaviour, their body language, their emotions, it’s amazing to see. She’s taught me more than any book or person ever could.

Cassie is the most sensitive, loyal, incredible dog I’ve ever known. Everyone comments on how expressive she is, she really does have the most human facial expressions. And trust me, if she’s judging you, you’ll definitely know about it. 😂

I feel so lucky that I got to adopt her when she was just six months old. I honestly can’t imagine my life without her, and Cassie & Co wouldn’t exist if she hadn’t come into my world.

When I first brought her home, she was absolutely feral, terrified of her own shadow, reactive towards other dogs, a bite risk around unknown men, and completely uncontrollable. 😂

These days you’ll find her in her favourite place, the pub, making friends with every man in sight. 🙈😂

I hope I get many, many more years with Cassie. I can’t even picture a world without her.

So today, we’re celebrating her 5th birthday in the Lake District, doing all her favorite things: birdwatching in the garden, going on a big adventure walk, swimming, and of course, stopping at the pub, with birthday cake, obviously!💝

Two puppies in one day!?

Today we also welcomed baby Otis! How beautiful is he, he’s going to be a little heart breaker!
