Since 2004 Happy Dogs has been dedicated to helping owners look after their pets. Our aim is to help you build up a relationship in which your dog understands you and you understanding your dog’s needs - both mentally and physically. We h

ave been able to help many owners over the years, that have almost come to the end of their tether with not having any success with their troubled dogs. With our guidance and instructions, the results we see are very rewarding! We also get very excited to spot a talented dog so keen to work, that they get the success they deserve and pass all relevant tests/procedures to become a working dog – extremely fulfilling and satisfying for both owner and dog. We can give advice on all aspects of owning a dog, from choosing the right breed for you; preparing for your puppy; training; food; equipment; exercise; health; law. Enjoy your loyal companion they are a fantastic addition to your family!

Join Devon Loves Dogs alongside the National Trust Killerton for a feel-good walk with purpose. We’ll kick off with a relaxed, sociable stroll so the dogs can sniff, play and make new friends… then it’s time to get planting to help create some brand new woodland! 🌳

Bring your pup to help give something back to the places you love to walk by planting trees, a paw-fect gift from your dog to future generations of furry friends.

With the temperatures dropping it presents a few hazards to our four legged pals.

🧣Not forgetting the single-coated dogs such as poodles, chihuahuas & pugs that will need an extra layer of insulation of a jacket when temperatures plummet. 🐶

🚫Stop your dog from drinking from puddles on paths/verges near roads as could contain anti-freeze.

Happy New Year to all our fantastic clients and to your wonderful dogs 🐕

Thank you for surviving the “I can’t hear you” act, followed by the instant, angelic obedience the moment Martin so much as raises an eyebrow 🤣 .

We’ve loved every “they only do it here,” every “why won’t they do that for me,” and every request for a portable Martin cutout board to carry around like a magical obedience talisman😆.

But here’s the part we’re genuinely proud of: YOU! You stuck with it. You trusted the recall journey, you kept training, you kept laughing. You persevered through the selective hearing, the dramatic sighs, the sudden amnesia, and the moments your dog gave you that blank face - the one that says ‘your noises mean nothing to me.’

And you did it with humour, heart, and a whole lot of determination - for your dog to understand you, and for you to understand them right back 💜.
