Welcome to Bicton College Dog Grooming Academy,
We are a training school for ages 19 + learners to gain their city & Guilds Level 2 and 3 In dog grooming,
As a training school we only operate in term time; & not in the school holidays
We are open Monday to Friday 9:30 to 4pm training with our students
Abbie our award-winning groomer works part time (day & half) to groom some dogs we can’t fit in w

ith our students, and in some term holidays. We are always on the look out for certain breeds for our students to groom. Please be advised there are some breeds where we are full too. Pre-booked appointments only. We offer Full grooms for an amazing half price or even a bit less! On Arrival - Parking – we have on site parking near our grooming academy, please do not park in the animal zone car park due to the zoo licence and to protect our roaming animals. Please walk down to the side gateway, press the door and please wait until come someone comes to open the gate. Please always keep dogs on a lead. We do get extremely busy; our reply to your message may be a bit longer than normal; we appreciate your understanding. Calling all dog owners and their four-legged friends!
We’re excited to announce that Bicton Dog Grooming will have our very own stand at the Devon County Show this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. You’ll find us at Road 9, Stand 395, right on the perimeter of the Dog Show Arena.

Come by and say hello — we’ll be taking and printing free photos of you and your pooch as a special keepsake of the day!

We’re also offering a limited number of FREE dog trims exclusively for our existing customers attending the show. While you enjoy exploring the event, let us pamper your dog with a complimentary grooming session.

Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance.

Hi everyone, we have availability with our current students and are looking for specific breeds and coat types. The dogs we are looking for mainly are shih-tzu, schnauzers, lhasa-apso, yorkshire terriers, king charles cavalier spaniels to keep there furnishings ,mini poodles. we would also like hand stripping dogs like border terriers / terrier types.

Hi Dog owner we are looking specifically for Shih Tzu's. Lhasa Apso's, Yorkshire terriers for our students doing their assessments this week. In exchange, we can offer your pooch a free full groom.
