🐾 WE’RE HIRING – ANIMAL NURSING ASSISTANT 🐾

Exeter Veterinary Surgery is looking for an experienced Animal Nursing Assistant to join our friendly, independent veterinary practice.

Position details:

• Approximately 30 hours per week
• 1 in 5 Saturday mornings
• Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
• Previous veterinary practice experience is essential

The role will involve supporting our vets and nurses, handling and caring for patients, assisting with the smooth running of clinical areas, maintaining excellent hygiene standards and helping us provide a friendly, compassionate service to our clients and their pets.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Caring, reliable and hardworking
• Confident handling dogs and cats
• Comfortable working in a busy clinical environment
• A friendly and supportive team member
• Able to communicate well with clients and colleagues

Welcome Penny! 🌟

🐾 Keeping Cool in Style! 🌞💙

Our receptionist Sue’s adorable dachshunds are modelling their fabulous cooling bandanas – and don’t they look the part! 🐶💚🌈

Cooling bandanas are a great way to help keep your dog comfortable during warmer weather. Simply soak them in cold water, wring them out, and pop them on before heading out for a walk or relaxing in the garden.

💧 Remember:
🐾 Walk dogs during the cooler parts of the day.
🐾 Always provide plenty of fresh water.
🐾 Never leave pets in a parked car – even for a few minutes.
🐾 Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, lethargy or collapse.

Stay safe, stay cool, and enjoy the sunshine with your four-legged friends! ☀️🐾
