Hope everyone is enjoying the Bank Holiday 😎 it's also a special bank holiday, as it's Ernie's owner's important birthday today 🥳 Happy Birthday Sue B !

Handsome Ernie is also to get everyone's attention too 😻 as today seems like a good day to send a reminder to everyone that bank holiday weekends, school holidays & festive times are very popular to take holidays 😎

We appreciate it's difficult to plan too far ahead but we are already taking bookings for 2026 😺 and some of these popular holiday times are getting busy

Please be sure of your holiday plans before making a booking; we have had a lot of people changing plans this year, which we have accommodated but can cause a few meltdowns 🫠

We have had a very busy summer & always enjoy seeing our regular guests & new ones too 😍

We're keeping the cats are cool here at the cattery but this is information is useful & good advice

HEATSTROKE IN CATS

PDSA advises: “Get clued up on the signs of heatstroke to save your pet's life. The quicker they’re cooled down, the better their chance of recovery. Keep your pets cool and hydrated to stay happy and healthy during this heatwave.

“If your pet is showing symptoms of heatstroke, get them wet (avoiding mouth and nose) with cold water immediately, and take them to the vet as quickly as possible.”

I am very fortunate that the lovely customers bring me gifts and goodies from their holidays. I don't normally mention on here, as if it's chocolates then they get eaten quickly 😆

However, I wanted to share this lovely gift from Ratbag's owner. Although having a difficult time herself, from bereavement, she took the time to make these beautiful ornaments 🤩 thank you Jax

I will have to keep them in the house, so they don't get knocked off 🙀

Today is an important day with the VE anniversary 🇬🇧

It is also Kenzo's 8th birthday 😻 he will be celebrating with a few treats 😺
