Double Coated Dogs Information 🐾🐾

I’ve had alot of questions lately (especially with this sunny weather we have been having) to why double coated dogs cant be clipped

I know some people think that by clipping off all that hair that it will help to cool the dog down, but infact it does the opposite and is really dangerous!

Having border collies myself I know that in the warmer weather it sometimes feels impossible to keep them cool, but by keeping up with brushing to help get rid of any dead undercoat, making sure they have plenty fresh water at all times and keeping them in cool dark places (ie having curtains in the house closed, fans on if you have any) and not going for walks when the temperature is high outside, are all little things you can do to make sure your dog is as safe as possible in this weather☀️

*Due to some medical reasons some double coated may be shaved if authorised by a vet🐾*

🐾Important Information 🐾

Just to let all my amazing customers know that I am expecting a baby at the start of December 👶🏼🎄

All going well my last day of work will be the 14th of November, with my return to work to be start of April 🐾🛁

I hate mentioning Christmas in June but its got to be done🤦🏼‍♀️ Christmas is such a busy time for all dog groomers so please if any of my customers will be due their hair cuts at the end of November/December I highly recommend you start looking to book in for that appointments now at another groomers🛁🐾✂️ im more than happy to give out recommendations of groomers to try so please dont hesitate sending me a message to ask for recommendations☺️

Thank you to everyone for your on going support, im so excited for this next adventure in my life👶🏼 im gunna miss all the dogs while being off so please feel free to send me lots of pictures of them while im on maternity 🥰🐾

My diary is currently open until the 14th of November for my customers that love to be organised and have all their appointments booked in advance ✂️ I am currently fully booked until October 🛁

Due to the ever rising costs of running a small business there will be a £5 price increase to all grooming services starting the 5th of May
