Poor Dexter hasn’t received a single application yet.
At 9 years old, Dexter isn’t looking for mountain hikes or marathon walks. What he wants is something much simpler – a comfortable bed, a kind home, sensible walks, and people to spend time with.
He’s a sweet, gentle little man who travels brilliantly, enjoys outings, walks nicely on the lead, and loves being around his people. Despite being deaf, he has adapted incredibly well and responds brilliantly to hand signals.
Yes, Dexter does have ongoing medical needs, and we’re looking for adopters who understand that. But he is also happy, comfortable, and enjoying life.
He could live as an only dog or with a calm canine companion and would love a home where he can continue his weight-loss journey and enjoy his retirement years in comfort.
