I am very sorry tell you that Ben's body has been finally found in a large pond on his family's estate.

Although repeated searches of the water had not located him, it appears he perished quickly and very close to the time he originally vanished.

He is now at peace, back with his family, in the garden.

On a positive note, his family now have closure and can concentrate on the happier memories.

RIP little Ben.

Just so you know who is behind Help Find Ben.

Ben's owners have joined up with LostPALS who are a Surrey Heath based support group for owners of lost and stolen pets.

So when you post on here, or message, you will be talking to Ben's owners directly, or one of the LostPALS members, but you will get a reply from one or the other, as soon as we can.

He is also registered on Dog Lost and so their members are also assisting.

The foxholes on site have been searched with an inspection camera and no sign of Ben.

We really need as many posters up as possible so please do put one in your car, or in the window of your house, wherever you live.

If you are able to, please print just one poster of Ben and put it in your car. It would take minutes and might just make the difference between his family getting him home or not.

It's hugely difficult under the Covid lockdown to search for Ben in the usual manner but we are desperately trying to explore every avenue while keeping within the law.

To this end, we are asking anyone that is able to print at least one poster and display it in their car, on a garden fence, lamp post, or anywhere visible in the hope we can find this little guy.

We need to get him back to the owners, one way or another. xx
