Anyone in dundee able to collect an escaped bermese python and bring it to our rescue here in edinburgh.

Must have experience with large constrictors as its around 8ft long and may not be tame.

With the current heatwave across Scotland, it’s important to take extra care with your reptiles 🐍☀️

A few key checks can make all the difference:

• Review your thermostat and dimming settings to prevent overheating
• Ensure fresh water is always available and topped up
• Monitor humidity levels closely and adjust as needed
• If temperatures rise too high, switch off heat sources temporarily

Reptiles tolerate cooler conditions far better than excessive heat, so avoiding overheating is critical.

Keep enclosures out of direct sunlight, maintain good airflow, and make sure your animals have access to cooler areas within their setup.

Fresh out here climbing like they pay rent, these baby carpet pythons are already showing off their natural skills on their new jungle gym 🧗‍♂️

Carpet pythons aren’t just pretty faces:

✨ Can grow 6–9 feet depending on locality
✨ Incredible hunters with heat-sensing pits
