Enzo in this new garden! We moved out to West Lothian over the weekend to our new home. This won't be impacting business working hours, but I do ask clients keep this in mind when requesting last minute weekend walks as I won't be as immediately available anymore 🩷💛🩷

Today is 💛

Did you know if you see a dog wearing yellow, it’s a sign they need space?

They may be wearing a yellow collar, harness, lead, vest or bandana.

Whether they’re nervous, in training, or recovering from an injury, giving them distance helps keep everyone happy and safe!

A new law came into effect on Wednesday to better protect livestock from dog attacks, with tougher penalties and new police powers.

Together, we can reduce livestock worrying and keep both dogs and farm animals safe. Here’s what dog owners can do... 🐾

You can read the full details on the new law here: https://www.gov.uk/government/news/new-law-comes-into-force-to-protect-farm-animals-from-dog-attacks

[Visual Description: An infographic titled “Keeping livestock safe: what dog owners need to know.” It includes the following points: “Follow the Countryside Code when walking your dog in rural areas,” “Always keep your dog under control and within sight,” “Always follow local signs and guidelines,” “Make sure your dog cannot escape from your home or garden if you live near livestock fields,” “It’s good practice to keep dogs on a lead around livestock,” and “Report any incidents of livestock worrying to the police or the local farmer.” Surrounding the text are illustrations of a dog, sheep, a lead, a fence, and a cow.]
