Langney Community Centre is run for the benefit of the local community. Within the building we have a large main hall with a stage, pa system, projector, screen and a kitchen equipped with cooker, microwave, crockery and cutlery, available to hire from £12 per hour. The smaller hall at the rear of the building, the Elsie Woolmer Hall (as a tribute to the lady who ran the Village Hall for many year
s in the past) is now a community cafe with great food at great prices. It can be hired at £10 per hour for meetings outside of cafe opening times. We also have a wellbeing room suitable for one to one appointments or therapies which is only £5 per hour to hire. All rooms have access to toilets, including disabled toilets and baby changing facilities. Disabled access is available at the front and rear of the building. Parking is on street and usually there is plenty of parking around. The exception is at school drop off and pick up times when Etchingham Road does get quite busy. Activities at the centre include Langney Larder, toddler groups, Foodbank, dog training clubs, a youth club run by YMCA and Langney Community Church also hold a weekly service on a Sunday.
