                                            Milewood Dear Edward
Our homebred 3 year old, just in from the field, he’s lived out 24/7 since a yearling so we thought it was a good time to bring him in for some handling, and for him to see a bit of ‘yard life’. Lucky for us they are turned away next to a busy road, so he’s seen plenty of traffic, tractors and noise. He has a massive frame to fill, so we thought we would post his progression over the next couple of months before he is turned away again in the spring.
He’s settled in & loving the attention. On the to do list -
✅ Farrier
✅ Trim him up, so he has a good first experience.
✅ he will learn to walk & trot up in hand.
✅ Rug on - not to keep him warm he has plenty of hair 🙈, but it gets him used to the feel around him.
✅ Feed, we will ensure he gets Topspec comprehensive balancer, to help him grow strong, Alfa A and ulcer kind cubes.
He will make eventually a 143 SHP, he’s out of Rudry Devotion X Rendene Royal charm (breeding top right) photo), so he’s definitely thrown back to some very chunky relative’s somewhere!!
