🚚 Another complete M.A.C. Lofts setup ready for dispatch!

This week we’re loading another full loft fit-out, this time heading to our customer in Stoke-on-Trent.

This order includes everything needed to transform a loft, from our handcrafted corridor sections through to the essential day-to-day equipment including perches, feeders and corridor drinkers. Every component has been manufactured here in our Scottish workshop using quality materials and built to the same standard we pride ourselves on.

Whether you’re ordering a single product or an entire loft setup, every item receives the same level of care, attention to detail and quality control before it leaves our workshop.

We don’t mass produce or hold any stocks of timber products. Every order is built on a first come, first served basis, allowing us to maintain the quality our customers have come to expect. We make no exceptions to this policy.

🚨 IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE – UNAVOIDABLE PRICE INCREASE 🚨

We have absorbed rising costs for as long as we possibly can, but we have now reached the point where continuing to do so is no longer sustainable.

Unfortunately, we have no alternative but to introduce the following carefully calculated increases:

* All product prices will increase by 7.4%
* All carriage and delivery charges will increase by 6% - Pallets are T.B.C. (Due to Increase again in august)

These increases have been worked out precisely based on the additional costs now affecting our business. They are not estimated figures, nor are they intended to increase our profit margins.

We are facing increases from every direction! including suppliers, timber merchants, plastic suppliers, packaging suppliers, couriers and pallet networks.

Many plastics and packaging materials are petroleum-based, meaning their costs are being heavily affected by the ongoing conflict and volatility in the Middle East. Timber costs are also being affected by rising diesel and fuel prices throughout harvesting, processing and transportation.

As a small British manufacturer, these increases now affect every corner of our business. We have absorbed them for as long as we possibly could, but it is now completely unavoidable for us to reflect these additional costs in our pricing.

We will not reduce the quality of our materials or workmanship to maintain an unsustainable price. Our products will continue to be manufactured to the same high standards our customers expect from M.A.C. Lofts.

Should these additional costs decrease in the future, we will review our prices and reduce them accordingly. This is not an opportunity for us to increase our margins it is a necessary response to costs being imposed upon us throughout our entire supply and transport chain.

Every timber product we manufacture is handcrafted to order in our Scottish workshop.

We do not hold stock.

We operate on a strict first come, first served basis.

No exceptions.

Our current order demand is still at a sensible level, but history tells us that won’t last forever. As the racing season comes to an end, more fanciers begin planning improvements for next season, and demand naturally increases.

If you’re already thinking about new nest boxes, perches, basket systems or other loft improvements this winter, now is the ideal time to get your order into the production schedule.
