Met Office Update: warning area extended to cover more of Scotland. The whole of the Borders is now in the warning area.

Please don't take it lightly. Especially those of you with pets. The British Vets association were saying on a Twitter Space a few days ago, that while people assume it's hot dogs in cars they treat more of in the weather we have coming, it's actually dogs that have been out on a walk.

The Met Office advises staying out of the sun between 11am to 3pm. And the Vets recommend walking your dog at 6am.
