🌟 Summer is here and we absolutely love seeing our fields full of happy dogs having the most brilliant time! But as the temperatures rise we want to make sure every single one of our visitors stays safe, comfortable and protected during their sessions. Dogs feel the heat far more than we do and a few small changes can make a huge difference to their wellbeing!

Here is what we have put in place to help keep your dogs safe and still having the best time this summer:

🌅 We have opened up brand new VERY EARLY MORNING and COOLER EVENING slots so your dog can run free at the best times of day when temperatures are at their most comfortable! Same amazing fun, just at a smarter time!

🌳 Our Dunkirk field has plenty of gorgeous shaded areas where dogs can take a breather and cool down between their zoomies!

💧 Water is available at both our Bridge and Dunkirk fields throughout your session!

📧 Need to move your existing booking to an earlier or later slot? No problem at all! Simply change your session up to 24 hours in advance via your booking email and we will get you rescheduled. Your dog's comfort always comes first!

Your dog absolutely deserves their fun and we are here to make sure they get it safely! 🐾

🌿🐾 Another day in the woods at Hugo's Fun Dog Field and what a session it was!
Today's highlights included dragonflies, butterflies, a conquered agility course (we'll call it suspicious agility 😂)

This is exactly what we love about Hugo's Fun Dog Field. Every visit is different. Wildlife, fresh air, new discoveries and plenty of laughs along the way. And for foster dogs finding their feet in a new world, a safe, private, enclosed space can make all the difference.

Did you know? Staffordshire Bull Terriers are known for being incredibly playful, loyal and people loving. Often misunderstood, Staffies consistently rank as one of the most affectionate breeds around. Just look at that smile!

Meet Ralph, one of our most loyal regulars at Hugo's Fun Dog Field in Dunkirk! This happy chap has been coming for years and honestly, that face says it all!

These larger, intelligent breeds need room to stretch their legs and engage their minds, and our secure fields give them exactly that!

Did you know? Dogs who regularly enjoy off lead exercise in safe, open spaces show significantly lower levels of stress and frustration behaviour at home. A tired dog really is a happy dog!

🌟 Meet Dorothy and could this first visit photo be any more perfect! At just 13 weeks old this gorgeous little girl visited us for the very first time and absolutely nailed her debut off lead session at Dunkirk! That picture frame was clearly made for her and she knew it! 🐾📸

Those very first off lead experiences are so incredibly important for young puppies. Getting them used to open spaces, new smells, different textures and the sheer joy of running free at their own pace lays the most brilliant foundation for a happy, confident dog. And doing it in a completely safe, fully fenced private field means you can let them explore without a single worry in the world!

No other dogs charging over, no leads getting tangled, no stressful encounters. Just Dorothy and all the space and freedom she could ever want for her very first big adventure! 🌟

🐾 Fun dog fact! Puppies have a critical socialisation window between 3 and 14 weeks of age where positive new experiences shape their confidence and behaviour for life. Getting them into safe, stimulating environments during this period is one of the best investments you can make in your puppy!

🌟 Stop what you are doing and look at this photo! Murphy the Irish Setter at our Bridge field this morning and we genuinely cannot get over how magnificent this shot is! Those auburn locks, that dramatic sky and that incredible view behind him! Murphy you absolute superstar! 🐾☁️

Irish Setters are one of the most strikingly beautiful breeds in the world and their personalities are just as gorgeous as their looks! Originally bred as gun dogs in Ireland, they are energetic, playful and absolutely love to run with their nose in the air taking in every single scent around them. A wide open private field is honestly their dream environment!

🐾 Fun dog fact! Irish Setters were originally bred to be red and white but over generations of selective breeding the stunning solid mahogany red coat became the most popular and recognisable version of the breed. Murphy is living proof of just how breathtaking that coat can be!

Our fully fenced Bridge field gave Murphy the perfect space to run free this morning with no other dogs around and no worries for his owners. Just pure, joyful freedom!

⚽🐾 The Bridge Field is looking WORLD CUP ready at Hugo's Fun Dog Field!

We've just had a fresh cut and honestly, we think it looks good enough for Wembley! The only difference? Our players have four legs, no offside rule, and absolutely zero interest in keeping the ball in play!

Our Bridge Field is one of our most popular spots, and right now it is looking absolutely stunning. With acres of lush green space all to yourself, your dog can run, explore and burn off that energy in a safe, fully enclosed private field. No other dogs, no distractions, just pure freedom!

🌟 Just look at these two absolute legends at our Dunkirk field! We do not know their names but we do know they had the most brilliant time and those tongues are telling us everything we need to know! 🐾😄

These two gorgeous Doodle crosses look like they have been best friends forever and booking a shared session for dogs who know each other is such a brilliant idea! 🌟 Just look at this absolute nutter going full zoomie mode at our Bridge field! We absolutely love seeing dogs like this one just letting loose and being completely and utterly themselves! This is pure, unfiltered dog joy right here and we are obsessed! 🐾

🐾 Fun dog fact! When dogs do those famous mad sprinting circuits we all know and love, it is actually called Frenetic Random Activity Periods, or FRAPs! Scientists believe it is their way of releasing pent up energy and pure excitement. We think Bridge field is basically FRAP heaven!

There is something really special about watching a dog run free with absolutely nothing holding them back. No leads, no other dogs, no worries. Just wide open space, fresh air and the biggest smile you have ever seen on a four legged friend!

🌟 Meet Leo the Goldador and honestly this photo might just be the most joyful thing we have ever seen! Bounding through the long grass at our Bridge field with a tennis ball firmly in his mouth and the most incredible countryside view behind him! This is what Hugo's Fun Dog Field is all about! 🎾🐾

A Goldador is a gorgeous cross between a Golden Retriever and a Yellow Labrador and quite possibly one of the most ball obsessed, people loving, tail wagging combinations known to dog kind! Both parent breeds were originally developed as working gun dogs with an incredible instinct to retrieve, which means fetch is quite literally written into Leo's DNA! Giving a Goldador the space to run, chase and bound back with that enormous smile is one of the very best things you can do for their happiness and wellbeing! 🐕

Fun dog fact! Goldadors are increasingly being trained as assistance and therapy dogs thanks to their gentle nature, intelligence and eagerness to please. Quite the superstar breed! 🌟

🌸 Happy 1st June! Summer is officially here and what better way to kick it off than giving your dog the best start to the month at Hugo's Fun Dog Field! 🐾

🌟 Meet Elsie, a gorgeous 15 month old Boxer who has been making the most of our Bridge field whilst she has been in season! Her owners got in touch to share how much the field has helped them over the last few weeks and messages like this really do make our day!

This is such an important point that doesn't always get talked about. Dogs in season still need exercise, mental stimulation and fun, but taking them to busy public parks or areas with other dogs can be really stressful and unpredictable! Our fully fenced, private hire fields mean Elsie gets the whole space completely to herself, with no other dogs, no worries and no stress for her owners either! 🔒

Boxers are an incredibly playful, energetic and people loving breed. They were originally bred as working dogs and have a huge amount of energy to burn! A private session where they can absolutely let loose is just perfect for this breed! 🐕

🐾 Fun dog fact! Did you know that Boxers got their name from their habit of standing on their hind legs and batting their front paws at each other, just like a boxer in the ring! We think Elsie looks like a total champion!
