This little toot has been in for puppy introductions before her big girl groom!! 💜
A puppy introduction gives them the chance to explore the salon in a calm, positive way & also meet the groomer and build trust. It's about letting them get used to the sounds, smells and equipment gradually in small sessions to reduce them becoming overwhelmed or overstimulated.
🐾 It gives us groomers a chance to introduce gentle handling of their paws, face and body & get them used to standing on the table.
The bonus parts are your pup gets to enjoy plenty of praise, treats and cuddles along the way & for us a puppy who has positive early experiences is much more likely to grow into a relaxed, confident dog who enjoys coming to the groomers & owners can learn which tools they should be using to maintain their pups coat in-between grooms!🐾
