Our state of the art van has been fitted with top quality equipment which includes a heated hydrobath. This provides a therapeutic water massage and deep clean as part of our full grooming package. The temperature controlled environment means a stress free grooming experience for your pampered pooch. Our mobile service removes the stress of transporting your dog and the hassle of grooming in your

own house. The one-to-one treatments mean there are no unexpected encounters at the grooming parlour and we can take the time to get to know your dog and its needs. Audrey Johnstone has been fully trained in the washing and grooming of dogs of all shapes and sizes and has undertaken additional courses in first aid for pets and dog handling.

Glamis Extravaganza car show
today; 28 degrees air temp but felt more like 30+ degrees.

In a 2 hour time frame, covering about a 1/3 of the area in the arena I counted over 40 dogs being dragged around by their owners - they were walking so slowly, panting like mad. This show is on from 9-5pm both today and tomorrow - can you imagine just how many more dogs will be taken?!?!

One day, these owners won’t be so lucky and they will be faced with their dog; collapsed and unconscious, with a temperature so high it doesn’t read on a thermometer anymore. They’ll be standing in a waiting room, sobbing; whilst a team of vets and nurses work tirelessly to save a life we know has been lost due to complete and utter stupidity.

People will never understand, until they have witnessed what we, as vets and vet nurses, have witnessed.

We witness the fear in your dogs eyes during those final moments when they can no longer breathe properly due to all the swelling in their throat caused by all the panting. We hold them and feel as their bodies stop fighting. We watch as the life of someone’s animal, slips away. We listen to the screams that come from the owner as they beg us to bring back their friend. And we feel EVERY SINGLE PART OF THIS.

I will say this - one more time for any of my friends on here that have a dog or know someone that has a dog…
