Busy day with the dogs and definitely making the most of these long summer days ☀️🐾

Neffy kicked things off with a walk & train at Balgay. We worked on disengaging from dogs, recall and loose lead walking. We also ended up doing an impromptu nail trim which she took completely in her stride. Good girl, Neffy!

The afternoon group headed to The Scurry for a good leg stretch. Plenty running about, followed by plenty sunbathing. Safe to say nobody was in a rush to leave.

Guinness joined me this evening for a walk & train at the retail park. We focused on engagement and lead walking around distractions, making the most of the busy environment to put his skills to the test.

After work, Ollie and Frida headed up the Sidlaws with me to make the most of the nice weather!

Another lovely Monday out with the dogs!

This morning Luna joined me for a walk & train. We headed to Gallagher Retail Park and even popped into Mountain Warehouse to work on some exposure, calmness and polite greetings with people. She took it all in her stride and continues to make great progress.

The afternoon group were delighted to welcome Samwise back after a wee break. There were some very happy reunions and plenty fun had by all.

I also had my first walk & train session with Bailey. He's such a sweet boy and we spent the session building engagement and helping him see the value in working with me. His owner has clearly put in some fantastic groundwork already and I'm looking forward to seeing how he progresses.

To round off the day, Ollie and Frida headed to Tentsmuir to burn off some steam. I'm absolutely loving these long summer days and making the most of every extra hour outdoors ☀️🐕

✨ What's happening this week ✨

This week is Week 5/6 of our Introduction to Scentwork block. It's been fantastic watching the teams grow in confidence and develop their searching skills over the past few weeks. 🐾

We're also wrapping up our current Progression, Development and Advanced Scentwork blocks this week. A huge well done to everyone who has been training with us. Keep your eyes peeled as we'll be adding more blocks to the schedule soon. 👀

A lovely afternoon NNA Pre-Entry Trial with Becks from Magnus K9. 🐾

These trials are never just about the scores. They're about spending time with like-minded people, cheering each other on, celebrating the wins and supporting each other through the challenges.

I'm incredibly proud of Ollie today. He worked his socks off and came away with a Synergy Badge for our vehicle search. Recognising the teamwork between dog and handler.

A huge thank you to Becks for judging and to everyone who came along and made it such a supportive and enjoyable day. The scentwork community really is something special. ❤️

Now for a well-earned rest for this handsome boy

A busy Tuesday getting back into the swing of things ☀️🐾

Started the day with a walk & train for Neffy, focusing on recall, loose lead walking and disengaging from dogs. She worked super hard today and handled the distractions really nicely.

The boys headed to The Scurry this afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed a good run around followed by some sunbathing in the heat 😎

Finished the day with Guinness in The Ferry for his walk & train. Plenty opportunities to work around dog distractions, lots of engagement work and of course making sure there was plenty water available to keep cool 💦

A lovely Tuesday with the gang!

We kicked the day off with a social walk, it's always the best way to start the day.

Neffy headed to Balgay on her walk and train to work on recall and disengaging from dogs. She aced it, her owners have been doing their homework!

The afternoon group headed to the scurry and managed to dodge the worst of the rain ☔
