🐱💗 CAN YOU HELP FILL OUR WISHLIST? 💗🐱

Romney House Cat Rescue is absolutely full of cats and kittens, and we desperately need your help! 🐾❤️

With so many hungry mouths to feed, we get through enormous quantities of cat food, litter and other essential supplies every single day. Keeping all our cats and kittens fed, warm, comfortable and cared for is a constant challenge, and we simply couldn’t do it without the kindness and generosity of our supporters.

🙏 Could you spare a little to help our cats? Every donation, however small, makes a real difference. Whether it’s a few pouches of kitten food, tins of cat food, cat litter or another essential item, it all helps us care for the many cats and kittens depending on us.

🎁 You can find our Amazon Wishlist in our bio, or here:

If you can send something our way, we would be incredibly grateful. And if you can’t donate yourself, please consider sharing this post to help us reach more kind-hearted cat lovers. 💕

Our centre is full, our food bills are enormous, and we really do need our supporters’ help to keep everything going.

❤️ Our cats and kittens are counting on us — and we’re counting on you!

A huge thank you to everyone who supports Romney House Cat Rescue. Every single donation helps us make a difference to the lives of cats and kittens who need us. 🐈🐾

🧡 PLEASE HELP ROMNEY HOUSE CAT RESCUE – NOMINATE US! 🐈‍⬛

We have some exciting news! ProtectaPet is giving away up to £10,000 worth of products and services to help cat rescues and fosterers across the UK create safe outdoor spaces for cats in their care. 🐾

We would absolutely love Romney House Cat Rescue to be considered, but we need YOUR help! 🙏

We care for cats and kittens who have been abandoned, neglected, or simply have nowhere else to go. Some stay with us for weeks, others for months or even years, and some need sanctuary care for the rest of their lives.

We work hard to ensure that every cat receives the veterinary treatment, care, comfort and enrichment they need, helping them feel safe and happy while they wait for their forever home – or providing them with a permanent safe haven if they cannot be rehomed.

Being selected for this support would make a real difference to the cats in our care, helping us improve their environment and give them even more opportunities to enjoy life.

❤️ PLEASE NOMINATE ROMNEY HOUSE CAT RESCUE!

You can submit a nomination using ProtectaPet’s nomination link:

Nominations close on 30 November 2026.

Please also share this post with your friends and family to help spread the word. Every nomination would mean so much to us and, most importantly, to the cats who depend on us. 🐱🧡

Thank you for supporting Romney House Cat Rescue and helping us give our cats the best lives possible! ❤️

🐾 Ready to home - Gaudi 🐾

Little Miss Gaudi is up for adoption! She is approximately 9 months old. Gaudi was a pregnant stray - far too young to have babies. Now she awaits her forever home for 3 months now with no interest & we don't get why! 🥺

She LOVES people and playing 🥰 Outdoor access is a necessity!

Single cat household only as she does not like other animals. Good with children too!

Check out our website for more information.
Appointment only!

PART-TIME POSITION – ROMNEY HOUSE CAT RESCUE

Practical Cat Care • Visitor Care • Administration

Romney House Cat Rescue is looking for a reliable, experienced and practical person to join our small team on a part-time basis.

The role involves a mixture of:

* 🐾 Practical cat care – feeding, cleaning, handling and caring for cats with a variety of needs
* 👥 Dealing with visitors and members of the public – including potential adopters
* 📋 Accurate administration and record keeping
* 🏠 Helping to maintain a clean, safe and well-organised rescue environment

EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL

Applicants must have previous professional experience working with cats.

Simply owning a cat, or having experience caring for your own pets, is not sufficient for this position. You will need to demonstrate that you have practical experience handling and caring for cats in a professional environment, ideally within a rescue, cattery, veterinary or similar setting.

You must be confident working independently, have excellent attention to detail and be comfortable dealing with the public. A caring attitude towards cats is essential, but so are reliability, professionalism, good organisational skills and a willingness to get stuck in.

If you have the relevant professional experience and would like to work as part of a small, dedicated cat rescue team, we would be pleased to hear from you.
