Its frustrating for all concerned but your animal professional is only thinking about the welfare and safety of your best friend. If they do cancel due to temperatures that should be a huge green flag.

Shaded walks, streams to splash in and water to drink have been the main order of the day for the past couple of weeks with how intense this heat has been. Keeping your furry friends cool whilst they're having fun!

This handsome chap is Kaipo who we were working with for a little while to get his recall up to par, gain focus, stop stealing from other dogs as well as lead walking. Starting off with some fun and games (and advising on the dangers of balls throwers) we then used find it games to really hammer home how fun a recall can be! Kaipo did exceptionally well #

We've been having a lot of fun in the sun recently but always make sure to keep play at a calm level and make sure that there is plenty of water to drink and splash about in keeping cool and hydrated. Also making sure to stick to shaded walks and woods on days it gets really hot. You may find that dog walkers, daycares and trainers run a reduced service during the warmer months. This is purely to keep your best friend safe. #
