☀️🐾 HOT WEATHER = HOT PAWS 🐾☀️

With extreme heat expected this week, please help keep dogs safe:

🐶 Walk early morning or late evening
🐾 Try the 5-second pavement test — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
💧 Keep fresh water and shade available
🚗 Never leave a dog in a car — not even for a minute
🧊 Swap daytime walks for cool indoor games, frozen treats and sniffing activities

Watch for signs of heatstroke: heavy panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, confusion or collapse. Cool them gradually and contact a vet urgently.

Jasper has come in leaps and bounds since some difficult experiences in the past, and I’m incredibly proud of him. 💛

Feet trims are still something he finds tricky. Today he became too stressed and warm, so I chose to end his appointment and let him head home with his feet a little longer than usual.

He’ll come back another day when he’s feeling more comfortable, and I will gently tidy them up then. Building trust always comes first. 🐶✨

Gentle giant Nelson decided that, while being groomed (and with the air con blowing on him), the smallest spot in the salon was clearly the best place for a nap 😂

Beautiful Bonnie came in for her summer trim and bath today! 🐶☀️
She was an absolute sweetheart and loved being towel dried, followed by plenty of cuddles on the floor. 💕 Looking fresh, feeling comfortable, and ready to enjoy the sunshine! ✂️🛁✨

Buddy popped in for his pamper session today, making sure he’s looking his absolute best for his lovely girlfriend. 💕🐾 Despite being taken, he still saved lots of kisses for me! 😘Such a sweetheart.

Handsome Duke the Cockapoo came in for a little trim and bath today. ✂️🛁 A perfect summer freshen-up to keep him looking smart and feeling comfortable in the warmer weather. He left looking and feeling his best! 🐾☀️

Little Jazzy came in for a lovely short cut and refreshing bath today. ✂️🛁 She left looking neat, feeling cool, and headed home happily damp after her pamper session! 🐾💕

Sweet Polly came in for a groom after a lovely morning at the beach! 🌊☀️ After all that fun in the sand and sea, she enjoyed a well-deserved pamper session and left looking fresh, fluffy, and fabulous. 💕✨

Older gentleman Bobby came in today for a nice trim and a tidy-up. Looking very smart and feeling refreshed, he’s now all set for his morning walks in the woods!

Such a pleasure to spend time with this handsome boy. Doesn’t he look dapper? ❤️🐶
