We went to this last year. In fact we enjoyed staying up near Twemlows Hall Stud Farm AI & ET Centre for the full two days. It’s a good course with lots of information all of which comes neatly in a ring binder so you can concentrate on who’s speaking. Well worth it especially if you get a tour of the stallion barn - fab!

This weekend we welcomed Boris into the fold! Boris is wb / tb so hopefully he will bounce and go fast when he grows up! He’s by Warrantino with some impressive family connections from Sebastian, Mermus and Tangelo Van de Zuuthoeve! He’s also the perfect buddy for our fast growing super homebred C**t Nacho!

Mata adores Lady and he watched lovingly while she delivered Nacho and has been infatuated ever since. He neighs every evening for them to come in and doesn’t relax until their back in the box next to him. I’m fairly sure he’s convinced he’s the father so we let him and now he’s able to graze lovingly with his little fam - even if I keep a fence in between them!

I don’t know any yard which hasn’t haemorrhaged money on hay this winter: with the quality through the floor we’ve bought in small bales (💸💸💸) and sourced some fab haylage. Shopping around and accepting times are expensive has paid off enormously. They all look great. This 24yr old Kudy and 20yr old Winnie watching the foals have a leg stretch and probably wishing they were babies again! 🤣🤣
