Meet Chancer — currently grounded to paddock duties after breaking and entering through my patio doors and getting himself wedged in the dining room 🫣🤣

Yes… ALL 4 hooves fully inside the house like he pays the mortgage. Honestly thought he was about to stick kettle on and asked if I want a cuppa!

So the tiny criminal has been escorted back to his paddock where he belongs 🤣

He’s on limited treats at the minute because someone is looking a little… well fed 👀🐴

But we still needed ways to keep his brain busy, and safe to say he absolutely LOVED his ball 😂

Even when he’s being a complete little 💩… he’s still too cute 🥹🤣

This isn’t my usual kind of post, but I wanted to share why this year’s Race for Life means so much to me 💜

On 01 August last year my dad was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer after months of being told it was acid reflux by his GP. Thankfully he asked for a second opinion.

Since then, he’s gone through intense chemotherapy, radiotherapy, hospital admissions, sepsis, internal bleeding and more challenges than any person should have to face.

Then, in March, four weeks after dad’s treatment stopped, my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer 💔. So far mum has had two surgeries, with more treatment still ahead including a mastectomy.

Watching both of your parents go through cancer at the same time is something I can’t really put into words. There have been some incredibly difficult moments, a lot of tears, and a lot of heartbreak along the way.

But through it all, we’ve also experienced so much kindness, love and support from friends, family and the amazing NHS staff caring for them 🙌

So this July, I’ll be running the 10k Race for Life for Cancer Research UK for both my mum and dad 💜
