After patiently posing for the camera, it was time for the important job… taste testing the treats! 🦴😋 Judging by that little tongue, we think they definitely got Arturo’s seal of approval! 😂

Would I still start a business if I knew all of this beforehand?

ABSOLUTELY 😂

Although I’m not sure anyone properly prepares you for doing absolutely everything yourself, checking your sales before you’ve even got out of bed and regularly saying “I’m done” before having another idea five minutes later.

It’s stressful, exhausting and sometimes makes no sense at all… but I wouldn’t change it 💛

Just look at this handsome boy popping into Funky Paws! 😍🐶
Those ears, that smile and that larger-than-life presence definitely turned a few heads! ❤️ He was an absolute superstar and, of course, there was time for a photo with Taylor. 📸🐾
We absolutely LOVE welcoming dogs of all shapes and sizes through our doors — whether they’re here to choose some tasty treats, find a new favourite toy or simply stop by for a fuss. 🦴🧸

A little compilation of some of the wonderful four-legged visitors who’ve popped in to see us recently. 🥰🐶
Big dogs, little dogs, fluffy dogs, bouncy dogs… every single one brings their own personality (and usually leaves with a treat or two! 😂).
We absolutely LOVE that Funky Paws is somewhere your dogs can come in, have a sniff around, make new friends and enjoy being part of the shopping trip. ❤️

Does your dog seem to have an internal alarm clock when dinner time is approaching? 😂⏰🐶
There’s a reason for it! Dogs have a circadian rhythm — their natural body clock — which helps them anticipate regular events in their day, including mealtimes, walks and even when their favourite humans are due home! 🏡❤️
So when you’re 5 minutes late with dinner and they’re staring at you like you’ve committed a terrible crime… they really DO know! 👀😂

A huge thank you to the lovely Lynn Machan for such wonderful words about our little shop and our team. We absolutely love getting to know the dogs who visit us — and their humans too! 🥰
Knowing that Archie and Peggy Sue can’t wait to get through our doors for a little Funky Paws fuss and spoiling is exactly what we’re all about. 🐶🐶💕
