Did you know we’ve planted the equivalent of 79 football pitches in wildflowers on our farm over the last two years? 🤔
It’s really important for us to not only be growing our premium grass mixes in the right way, but also implementing initiatives on the farm to help wildlife, nature and the environment at the same time. As a family that’s farmed in Yorkshire for generations, we’re passionate about caring for the land and environment in order to create a place where wildlife can thrive for generations to come.
On this World Environment Day, we’re sharing just some of the ways we’re helping nature which we think you’ll love…💚
🪻 Wildflower strips buzzing with bees, butterflies and other pollinators which help provide food, habitat and acts as a place for nature to enjoy all year round (if only you could hear the hustle and bustle of the buzzz-ing!)
🌳 Hedgerows and field margins help increase the density of birds and wildlife around our farm and help us pollinate the crops. Every (single) year we reintroduce more to our farm!
♻️ Our packaging is 100% plastic free, 100% recyclable or used as a way of minimising waste. Even the leaflets you receive with your orders are printed on recycled paper.
