We're getting cosy and writing our Christmas cards here at Milly's Moggies HQ! 📬🎄It's got me feeling a little reflective...

This year marks a wonderful 5 years of cat sitting, and I'm so grateful for every client, whether I've cared for your felines once or a hundred times 🫶 Over the years, I've been lucky enough to build such special bonds, and I've also said goodbye to precious friends who've crossed the rainbow bridge, and we remember them with so much love 🌈

A little while ago, I shared that I had planned a whole year of content, but life had other plans... Between the cost of living squeeze and navigating redundancy from my full time job, it's been a juggle of applications, interviews, uncertainty - all while trying to keep Milly's Moggies going strong.

From chatting with fellow cat sitters, I know I'm not alone in feeling these pressures. It really highlights how much love, time, and emotional energy goes into what we do 💛🐾 And honestly, in times like these, it can feel strange charging for work when you’ve grown to truly love the animals you care for.

For now, I'm still cat sitting and of course cherishing my furry clients just the same, especially during this magical time of year 🎄✨

Most of all, thank you truly for following this page, supporting my little business, and sticking with me through the ups and downs. Your kindness means more than you know 💌

🐾💙 Meet Bubi (aka Boo!) - The Cheeky Charmer 💙🐾

The newest member of the Milly’s Moggies gang, Bubi is a handsome Russian Blue who recently moved homes and was on the lookout for a new playmate - lucky for both of us, we hit it off straight away!

🎣 Favourite Toys: Goldfish (top tier!) & Christmas toy (used proudly all year 🎄)
🍗 Favourite Treat: Freeze-dried chicken
🕵️‍♂️ Special Skill: Escape artistry (although not under my watch!)

💤 Signature Moves: Chest snuggles & the plotting stare 👀
🌟 Status: Certified Good Boy™ & resident heart-stealer 💘

🎡🐱✨ Attention Abingdon Cat Owners! ✨🐱🎡

Do you want this to be your kitty cats??? ⬇️

According to my very reliable sources (aka the internet), the Michaelmas Fair is rolling into Abingdon from 7am Sunday 5th October through to 9am Wednesday 8th October. 🎢
That means:
👉 Loud noises 🎶
👉 Bright lights 💡
👉 Big crowds 🚶🚶‍♀️🚶
👉 Spinning things your cats absolutely did not sign up for 🌀😾

If you live nearby, please consider keeping your feline friends safely inside during these days 🏡🐈 It’s better to watch the chaos from the sofa than risk your kitty trying to start a new life as a dodgem car attendant 🚗🐾

Stay safe, snuggle your cats, and may their only ride be the one from sofa, to the food bowl, to the sofa again 😸

🐾 Sunday vibes at Milly's Moggies 🐾

What a lovely, productive little weekend!

Spent some quality time with a long-time feline friend 🐈‍⬛, then got caught in the rain ☔️ on the way to meet a new client and her adorable cat 📦🐱. So sweet to see how our pets stick with us through every change 💕

Back home, Minori “helped” with katsu curry 🍛 (mostly supervising 😸), and Maru has been living his best snuggle life in his favourite Ikea blanket 🛏️💛
