Winter Dangers for Dogs.....

❄️ Cold Temperatures – Risk of hypothermia, especially for small or short-haired dogs
🧊 Ice & Slippery Paths – Increased risk of slips, falls, and joint injuries
🧂 Grit & Road Salt – Can irritate paws and cause cracking or burns
🌫️ Reduced Visibility – Shorter days mean higher risk near roads
🐾 Dry, Cracked Paws – Cold air and grit can damage paw pads
🚗 Antifreeze Spills – Highly toxic if ingested, even in small amounts

Safety Tips:
✅️Dry paws and fur after walks ✅️Check paws regularly
✅️Use reflective leads or coats
✅️Keep walks shorter in extreme cold

Keeping your dog’s coat in great shape doesn’t have to be a chore!

🐶Break brushing into small daily sections
🐶Brush in the direction of hair growth, right to the roots
🐶Use a slicker brush such as the + finish with a comb
🐶Grooming sprays help tackle knots
🐶Brush during cuddle time or while the kettle boils
🐶Don’t forget areas under harnesses!
A little brushing goes a long way!💛
