Come and watch Dotty’s first groom with me at Shaggy to Snazzy Dog Grooming!

Although Dotty can find grooming quite daunting and overwhelming, she did so so well during her first groom in a new environment with new people!

Over the next few grooms, I just know it’s going to be so rewarding to watch Dotty grow in confidence with each visit!

If you don’t already know me, I’m Hannah, the groomer behind Shaggy to Snazzy Dog Grooming 👋

I’m based within Buddy Bath Dog Groomers near Didcot in South Oxfordshire.

I offer calm, one-to-one grooming tailored to each dog 🐶�I focus on keeping dogs comfortable and at ease by using treats, snuffle mats and gentle handling to help them enjoy their grooming experience 🐾

I’m currently open for bookings, whether you’re looking for a full groom, hand stripping, nail trims or a gentle puppy introduction 🐾

This is what progress looks like 🐾

Wow! What a win! Across just five grooms, this young lad has gone from being full of energy and unable to stand still, to relaxing and laying down on the table while his ears are gently trimmed ✂️🐶

If we hadn’t got the photo, I don’t think his owner would have believed us!

He’s still curious and wiggly for parts of the groom, but with calm handling, treats, positive reinforcement and a snuffle mat, he’s learning how to slow down and feel comfortable with the handling involved in grooming.

No rushing. No forcing. Just patience, consistency and working at his pace 💛

Progress like this doesn’t happen overnight — it’s built on patience and trust 🐾

Ever wondered what your dog gets up to when they’re dropped off at Shaggy to Snazzy Dog Grooming?

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at this handsome young Airedale groom just before Christmas. There were plenty of treats along the way, lots of praise and time to play once his groom was finished.

Grooming doesn’t have to be rushed or stressful. It’s about taking time, keeping things positive and making sure each dog leaves happy, comfortable and looking smart.
