🐾 Meet Kea! 🐾
This sweet-natured girl has travelled all the way from New Zealand and is now enjoying her golden years here in the UK 🇬🇧💛

At the young age of 12, Kea’s owner noticed she’d started to slow down due to osteoarthritis and hip pain. After just four hydrotherapy sessions, her owner has already seen a real difference. Kea is happier, more playful, and moving with more ease again!

❄️ Cold Weather Reminder for Hydrotherapy Dogs! ❄️

As the weather starts to get colder, we strongly advise bringing a drying coat or robe for your dog after their swim. 🐶

Wearing a drying coat helps, keep muscles and joints warm which is important for recovery and reducing stiffness

Beautiful Bella has been coming to us weekly to help rebuild muscle around her knees after having both cruciate repairs. She’s also done amazingly well on her weight-loss journey, having lost over 2.5kg since starting with us, what a superstar! 🌟

Bella likes to do things her own way, so it hasn’t always been the easiest journey. But by taking it slow and working at her pace, she now (sort of 😉) happily walks into the pool. She may pretend she’s not keen on swimming, but she’s always happy to walk in and her waggy tail and big smile afterwards tell a very different story. 💜

Luna attends hydrotherapy after being diagnosed with hip dysplasia.
Her sessions focus on building the muscles around her hips to give them extra support, helping to manage her condition conservatively.

She’s also on a weight loss journey and has already lost over 2 kg since starting with us in May 2025, an amazing achievement that’s helping to take pressure off her joints.

Luna is always happy to come and see us, though we suspect it’s mainly for the liver paste 🙄! She’s been a bit of a challenge to motivate at times, often preferring to float and take the easy option in the pool. But during her last session, she really impressed us, swimming beautifully and putting in so much effort. We’re so proud of her progress!

GERI 🐾

Little quirky girl Geri attends hydrotherapy to help manage her hip dysplasia and also to loose some weight. Geri has lost nearly 2kg since starting swimming 👏🏼

She pulls to get in everytime, not for swimming or for us, only for liver paste. However she will swim and secretly enjoys it on her terms!
She also has the best bum shake!
