Beautiful Suki is currently our oldest patient at 14 years old. Hydrotherapy is helping to manage her arthritis and she always feels better after swimming despite not really loving the swimming part! Her ear position clearly indicates how happy she is and liver paste always equals happy ears. Suki’s super dense Akita fur holds so much water that when she’s wet she’s 2.5kg heavier than when she’s dry! She likes to carefully distribute all that water by standing near the person with the driest clothes before shaking.

Logi bear showing off his swimming skills! 🏊

Logi has been coming to us for 3 years for fitness swims. He’s a little superstar when swimming however he likes to act like a prince and be carried off the ramp to swim! 👑

This sweet girl Fudge, is visiting us for hydrotherapy to help manage her osteoarthritis. She walks in every session like a little old lady, but after her swim she zooms (literally!) around like a puppy for 5 minutes while we are trying to catch her to dry her off!

Hydrotherapy is a fantastic way to support dogs with artrhtis — it helps improve mobility, build muscle, and ease discomfort, all in a safe, low-impact environment.

Please take a moment to appreciate this handsome boy and his magnificent beard! Alfonso is a 3 year old Italian Spinone who’s been coming to Ash Farm Hydrotherapy for a couple of years now. His owner wanted to to help build his confidence in new situations and with new people because he was a little nervous. They also wanted to add in another form of exercise to help keep him super fit and in excellent condition. He gets so excited when he realises where he is and can’t wait to get in the pool.

Baxter was diagnosed with Hip Dysplasia almost 9 years ago and has been having regular Hydrotherapy to help manage it really well ever since. He doesn’t like to keep things simple and straightforward though so he’s made sure to have regular, complicated health issues as well. He really loves Swimming but really hates resting and isn’t afraid to make sure everyone can hear about how awful it is. Despite how much he’s been through he is such a friendly, happy boy. It’s such a pleasure to be able to help dogs like Baxter everyday.

Just look at Bob’s beautiful face. Bob is one of those incredibly gentle and incredibly good boys. He’s 10 and has Osteoarthritis in his elbows and some additional compensatory issues caused by that too. Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy is really helping him stay as fit and comfortable as possible. We work very closely with his Physiotherapist to ensure Bob gets the best treatment possible and everyone that meets him loves him immediately. 🥰
