I’m not anti-vaccination, but I also do not like to pump chemicals into my dogs unnecessarily.
So I’ve had all my dogs titre tested to check antibody levels , to determine if the needed a booster .
NONE of them needed a booster as they all had positive antibodies in their system. They range from 12 months old to 8 years old.
Even my 12 month old puppy had plenty of antibodies in her system (photo attached). She has only ever had 1 vaccine after 10 weeks old (once the antibodies from her mother started to fade and thus making the vaccine effective). No second vacccine and no booster, but as you can see , she has plenty of antibodies in her system.
So no vaccines for my healthy dogs this year , as they all have the necessary antibody count. That means no unnecessary chemicals in their body, potentially risking nasty (and sometimes incurable) side effects. Happy to keep my healthy dogs healthy!
If you don’t know about titre testing you can join a Facebook group to see where your local clinic is.

I only paid £55 per dog for the test.
If your vet wants to charge you extortionate prices , then just arrange a nurse’s appointment (around £25) to draw the blood so that you can send it straight to the lab . You don’t need an expensive veterinary surgeon appointment to just draw blood.

If there enough people happy to come to Deddington , then I can arrange a clinic here to get your doggies titre tested. Otherwise , it’s an easy thing for your to arrange.
