I have just been to the most beautiful secure dog walking field! It’s a bit of an unknown treasure, so here’s me letting you know about it!

My dogs absolutely loved it , as there’s loads of interesting smells, trees and vegetation to explore. It makes it a super interesting and mentally stimulating walk for your dogs , all in the safely of a secure field.

It’s also a very peaceful place to have a walk.

We love it and can highly recommend!!

You can book it straight at this link

Very proud of the basic obedience doggies today.

We worked on stays with balls being thrown in the bucket.

Looks very controlled then, but you should have seen us 5 minutes before 😂

I’m not anti-vaccination, but I also do not like to pump chemicals into my dogs unnecessarily.

So I’ve had all my dogs titre tested to check antibody levels , to determine if the needed a booster .

NONE of them needed a booster as they all had positive antibodies in their system. They range from 12 months old to 8 years old.

Even my 12 month old puppy had plenty of antibodies in her system (photo attached). She has only ever had 1 vaccine after 10 weeks old (once the antibodies from her mother started to fade and thus making the vaccine effective). No second vacccine and no booster, but as you can see , she has plenty of antibodies in her system.

So no vaccines for my healthy dogs this year , as they all have the necessary antibody count. That means no unnecessary chemicals in their body, potentially risking nasty (and sometimes incurable) side effects. Happy to keep my healthy dogs healthy!

If you don’t know about titre testing you can join a Facebook group to see where your local clinic is.

https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1BgiNetGnH/?mibextid=wwXIfr

I only paid £55 per dog for the test.

If your vet wants to charge you extortionate prices , then just arrange a nurse’s appointment (around £25) to draw the blood so that you can send it straight to the lab . You don’t need an expensive veterinary surgeon appointment to just draw blood.

Here’s a link to the lab :

If there enough people happy to come to Deddington , then I can arrange a clinic here to get your doggies titre tested. Otherwise , it’s an easy thing for your to arrange.

My favourite DUPES that I can’t live without in winter!

I’ve been meaning to post this all winter, but time just passes me by!

Anyway, after all this wet muddy weather and with 5 long haired Flatcoat’s who love water and mud, here are my 3 favourite winter products I can’t live without.

You don’t have to pay the extortionate prices of the named brands . Here are 3 of my favourite dupes!

1.- Dunelm Marvel washable cotton floor mat (exactly like turtle mat, but much cheaper). Both are exactly the same and absorb the mud brilliantly. You’ll wonder how you lived without this.

2.- Dog drying coats. The best dog coats! The microfibres totally absorbs water and keeps your dog warm. They’ll be totally dry by the time you get home. Just like Ruff and Tumble , but much much cheaper . A must for all dogs.

3.- Drying towel. This towel absorbs water like you won’t believe! Just wring it out and it’s ready to use again (or in my case on my next dog). You won’t believe the magic! I always keep mine in the car in a zip bag ready to use. Say goodbye to wet cotton towels that take forever to dry (and get dirty) . Just like the original easi-dri , but much much cheaper (I also use the small ones to clean the house - they’re amazing!)

You will all be aware that your dog MUST be on a lead in a field where there is livestock.

But the law has now changed to prosecute harder when dogs are worrying or injuring farm animals.

Just a little reminder to make sure your dog is on lead at all times where there are animals near you, even if you’re outside of a fenced field , as your dog can easily get into that field.

Let’s all respect each other in the countryside.

Christmas is just around the corner! Make sure you keep your doggies safe. This is a great idea on how to keep them away from eating the decorations.

Plus, isn’t it just the most beautiful tree!? 😍
