REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

We have been receiving a lot of prescriptions requests recently where pets have run out of medication before or on the day of request.

We ask that you order your repeat prescriptions with a minimum of 48 notice.

Whilst we will always endeavour to action all prescriptions requests on day received our vets can often be tied up dealing with urgent and emergency cases so are unable to authorise the medication immediately and medications may also need to be ordered from specialist suppliers and can take a few days to arrive.
Prescriptions also take time to be made up and double checked by 2 team members to ensure no errors are made.

Please email all prescription requests to [email protected] ensuing your details your surname, address, pets name, medication needed and amount requested

You will not receive an email acknowledgement of the request but will receive a text message when your prescription is ready to collect.

We appreciate your help and patience.

Today Tuesday 2nd September we will be closed for staff training from 10am to 2pm. We will still be available for emergency calls during this time on our usual number 01294832503.

If you are collecting medication or calling for non emergent reasons please ideally phone or come outwith these times.

Whilst we are all enjoying the current gorgeous warm weather please consider your pets welfare. Travelling on a hot day and waiting with your pet at the clinic may not be ideal for your pet, especially for brachycephalic breeds which are more prone to overheating We are happy for you to contact us to rearrange non essential appointments if you prefer.
