It’s so important to make sure all our cats stay hydrated in the heat. We regularly offer watered down kitty yoghurts. Cats love it, and it also provides plenty fluids.

How do you keep you cats cool and hydrated in the heat?

A very sad day yesterday as we had to let Jasper make his journey to Rainbow Bridge

I’m sure almost everyone that has visited the cattery has met Jasper. He would normally be sitting on the desk or sunbathing on the door mat!

In 2019, Jasper’s owner asked me to find him a home when she could no longer look after him due to her own failing health. I sat trying to write him an advert with tears rolling down my cheeks…

My husband said no…..but it took 3 weeks before he noticed we had three black cats instead of two. By then, Jasper was definitely staying.

Jasper was always a very independent boy. He didn’t like being in the house and chose the cattery as his home. We would leave the window open and he would come and go as he pleased. In the winter he would become a squatter in our quiet unit when nobody was staying in there. I always left the heater on for him so he was cosy.

I suppose you could say he was the face of Campview. He was always there to welcome visitors, and would lap up all the attention (on his terms!)

The last couple of months, Jasper started to slow down. He lost his appetite and no matter what we did, he wasn’t improving. Yesterday he decided the fight was just too much and he crossed the bridge very peacefully.

I can’t thank his old family enough for letting me be a part of his wee life. He was a very special boy, who will be missed by many💔

I know that his mum would have been waiting for him at Rainbow Bridge 🌈 ❤️

Lots of enquiries coming in for June/ July / August

At the moment we have limited availability throughout June, and only a couple of days here and there in July.

August is looking ok at the moment!

Any cancellations will be posted on this page so keep your eyes peeled!

Just a wee reminder about our cancellation policy. If you cancel your booking within 14 days of the start date, you will still be liable to pay for the full booking. Cancellations 15-28 days prior to the start of booking will be required to pay 50% of the total booking.

We have roadworks planned from Saturday 25th April for approximately 4 weeks.

We are bang in the middle of the road closure, so if you are coming to us between Saturday 25th April and Friday 1st May, we have been advised that access will be from the A914 (Cupar road).

From Saturday 2nd April, the road down the hill will be closed, so please come to us from the Leven side.

I have been informed that if customers could let the workers know they are coming to the cattery, they will either let you through, or guide you through the diversion.

Any problems, or if you need directions, please let me know!
