Hi all,

As you all know I am now closed, if you are looking to surrender an animal, ask for advice or indeed rehome a hamster please contact Mandys Furbabies Fife - Kirkcaldy Hamster Rescue or join the Hamster Rescue Scotland Network who are more than happy to help.
Unfortunately there are a few people claiming to be new rescues recently and they are in fact disingenuous and only looking for money.
PLEASE do your research before looking to give up or adopt any animal from any rescue and always ask for plenty of photos or to visit the premises to see for yourself where your animal will be going or coming from. If you are unsure about anyone, do not give them your animal or support. Feel free to message me for advice too on any 'rescues' we only want what's best for the animals!!
Always happy to support any genuine people who want to get into rescuing animals, but it takes a lot of hard work, preparation and dedication ❤️

Well that's my 300th and 301st adoptions complete and the last hamsters have left Hamsterdam! 😭

I would like to say a HUGE thank you to every single person who has supported my small rescue over the past three years, I never thought it would have been such a crazy and amazing experience! Whether you have 'liked' my posts, donated, adopted, helped with collecting hamsters, offered support or anything in between, I will be forever grateful to every single one of you!
I have met so many amazing people, travelled pretty much all over Scotland and I have learned so much, not only about hamsters, but about myself too. I will be forever grateful for the experience and proud of myself for helping so many wee animals in need.

Now the big question is... can a baby be more hard work than taking in 320+ hamsters? 👶❤️

Two new arrivals here in Hamsterdam tonight.. a huge thank you to Julie and Kirsty from Hamster Rescue Scotland Network
who have been fostering these two for me.
Silver is a beautiful wee male dwarf who can be a bit noisy at times!
Penny is a lovely and friendly Syrian who loves lots of spaccuddleay and seems to enjoy cuddles.

Beautiful Gus joined us here in Hamsterdam yesterday. He is currently settling into a Savic Plaza but he is unfortunately a bar biter so is looking for his forever home in a large tank style enclosure 🐹❤️

Beautiful 8 month old Nala is looking for her forever home. She is super friendly and loves nothing more than a wee cuddle and a treat! She enjoys burrowing in deep bedding and making a mess too.
She needs a cage that is at least 80x50cm with plenty of enrichment to keep her entertained. Please send me a message if Nala is the girl for you ❤️
