This stunning Frank Allen Break is the latest restoration to leave the Fenix workshops. If you have visited recently you will know this carriage was finished a while ago but today was the first opportunity to make the short journey to its new home in the Fenix Museum, where it will be housed for the owner.

Realised we had been a bit quiet on FB recently! So much happening here at Fenix….. carriage servicing before the new season,new exciting restoration projects, two day coaching bursary, training with our young horses, teaching, first driving trials of the year, first coaching of the year…..What an enjoyable but busy few months. Thank you to our friends and clients for your support.

We are delighted to welcome Mark Broadbent as a new Council member. A leading figure in carriage driving, Mark brings decades of experience as a British carriage driver, international competitor, respected judge and master coachmaker.

As founder of Fenix Carriages in 1975, his craftsmanship has contributed to the modern carriage‑driving world, while his commitment to education continues to support the next generation of drivers and makers. Mark also serves as President of the Coaching Club, and his long-standing involvement with the Worshipful Company of Coachmakers
