INTRODUCING..... AMBER

Amber is a Great Dane x Cane Corso mix. She is 4 years old and is neutered.

Amber is great with other dogs, cats, children and some people. Amber is very nervous around new people and can be quite protective over her person or people. She relys heavily on the other dog that they have which is a GD and looks to her for support and instructions. Amber needs a home where she is soul focus and xan be her own dog and her new family will be able to help her overcome her fear of new people on the lead. She has never bitten but will bark, growl and on the odd occasion has lunged while on the lead but has always been under control to stop any behaviour escalating and her current owners are wirking with her and are reporting that she is responding well.

Amber does have a special diet as she does suffer with ear infections if she is fed the wrong food it sets her ears off (all medical history will be disclosed to new owners before hand).

Amber has bundles of energy and loves to go on long walks and to the beach but does get nervous in new surroundings. She can be let off the lead and she will quite happily come back.

Amber needs a very committed home that will be willing to get to know her before she can go home with them and will continue to better her education in meeting new people.

Name: Dave
Age: 4.5 - 5 years (Street kid from Spain)
Breed: Podenco aka Ibizan Hound
Neutered: Yes
Up to date with flea/worming and vaccinations.

Dave is amazing with children, cats and other dogs. He can be wary in new places but soon settles and can be frightened of heavy traffic and traffic that travels quickly in the wet. He was a street dog so traffic is not going to be his best friend but with support and encouragement he is fine.

Dave loves cuddles and carrots. He also loves running free with his mates at 'Let's go Walkies with Sophie'.

Dave is such a loving, gentle character thats very sensitive so needs a very loving and sympathetic home with lots of love and encouragement and you will get the best out of him. He's never shown any aggression or bad temper, he's just a lovely boy thats unfortunately unable to keep his home due to a marriage breakdown.

He can be left alone for the standard amount of time and doesn't bark or howl. He doesn't destroy anything either.

Dave is a wonderful well rounded young man looking for his forever home where he can cuddle to his hearts content. He is honestly the sweetest boy and can be rehomed with another dog or cats.

INTRODUCING.... Aida

Aida is looking for a new sofa to sleep on through no fault of her own. Unfortunately due to a marriage breakdown she need a new a new sofa.

She was part of a duo but Gary her friend has found his forever home and now it's Aidas turn.

Age: 3
Breed: Shes a Rescue, Patterdale x Poodle possibly
Neutered: yes
Children: has been good with my granddaughter who is now 5. Child would have to know how to be around dogs.
Aida is no good around cats shr growls pulls on lead and barks so not suitable to have a cat in the house.
Shes lovely with her owner owner, will growl and bark and sometimes nip at other dogs but only whilst out on a walk now she will ve on her own this will need training and im sure she will come through it. Will bark at random people or people new coming to the home but once she knows your ok shes fine, attends doggy day care with no issues. Loves to play ball will bring back. Loves a stick, loves a tug of war.
Toilet trained.
Happy sleeping on the bed or on a cool floor when hot. Not crate trained, going in a crate makes her very anxious.
Recall needs a bit of work as if she sees a furry or cat she will chase.

Vaccines/Flea/Worm all up to date.

Shes a very sweet girl that needs an active but quiet home with no cats, if you can offer this to her then please message to find out more.

INTRODUCING..... HERBIE

Breed: Tri colour border collie

Unfortunately herbie cannot live with children, he has been brought up in a home with 4 boys and since their house move has started to nip and growl at them. Herbie needs an active home that doesn't have children around.
He has lived with two cats but will chase if they run but won't hurt them.

Loves balls, long walks, playing in the river, walks on the moors.
Hes not keen on the hoover but will take him self away.

Hes a lovely sweet natured boy so sweet he would rot your teeth, he loves saying hello to people, but not children so even outside the home his interaction with children will need to be heavily supervised from a distance or limited completely. I will be on hand to do some training around children to help you combat this behaviour and help you manage it. He has never shown any aggression to adults or other dogs.

Hes toilet trained outside in the garden, no house accidents.

Any food aggression: no
Any resource guarding: no
Recall: has been brilliant up to a couple of months ago so will need some further training on this again
Hes great with other dogs out and about loves to say hi.

He can be left alone with no problems and he's up to date with his vaccines and flea/Worm treatments.

Gary and Aida are a lovely duo that are looking for a new sofa to sleep on through no fault of their own. Unfortunately due to a marriage breakdown they need a new a new sofa.

Breed: Jack Russell
Neutered: yes
Papers: has all immunisation history and is chipped
Children: Fine with children
Cats: barks and growls if out and about, has also played with a cat. Is scared of them if they stand their ground
Character: Generally placid, is playful, loves being chased and playing games.
Toilet training: no issues, will let you know by whining at you if he needs to go out
Sleeping arrangements: has bed in lounge and top of stairs. Allowed to sleep on my bed, doesn’t always do this.
With other dogs out and about: no issues, will ignore other dogs mostly. Will play with the odd dog.
Routine: long walk about mid morning, home for dinner at about 2-3 pm. Walk again in the evening at about 9pm
Can be left alone: yes

Sleeping arrangements: has bed down stairs and top of landing. Will get onto my bed but never stays there, generally sleeps on landing or under the bed. Not crate trained, going in a crate makes her very anxious.

Recall: same as for Gary, will stop and let me put lead on if we see another dog. Has never run away.
Routine: same as for Gary, long walk midday. Meal at 2-3pm walk at about 9pm
Can be left alone: yes but will bark at noises

I am looking on behalf of a client for a medium size dog to rehome. 6 to 12 months.

I will be doing all relevant checks and assessments.

House always has someone in and lovely house and back garden, no young children but grandkids do come to visit. They have a lovely lab already so would prefer a female.

I run this rehome, but I don't have anything suitable for them at the moment, please get in touch if you think you have a suitable dog or if you know of someone who does.

Honey now has an amazing new home and after nearly a week of being there is absolutely thriving! We wish Honey and her new owners a long, happy, healthy life together ❤️

INTRODUCING...... Honey

Honey is a 1 year old German shepherd x Husky. She is not neutered due to her age as large dogs are to be spayed between the ages of 18 months to 2 years. She will however go out on a spay contract as she is not for breeding.

Honey needs more than what her family can give her now as unfortunately she was brought as a therapy dog (which she still does) but the teenager she was brought for is now into teenage years (and we all know what follows that... boys!)

Honey needs regular exercise and a garden she can play in and sadly she has outgrown the first floor flat that she lives in.

Honey can pull on the lead and be interested in absolutely everything but this is due to lack of training and walking. Once she has a settled routine and plenty of exercise she will be more settled.

Honey can be nervous of new people entering her home but once a hello has been given she's all over you like a rash. Due to this fact no homes with children under 10 please. She's a young pup that needs an education and time.
