🐾💕 FOUR TINY SURVIVORS, ONE INCREDIBLE MUM, AND A SECOND CHANCE AT HAPPILY EVER AFTER! 💕🐾
✨ Meet Zane, Zola, Kyra & Lyra — 10 weeks old today and ready to find their forever homes! ✨
Some kittens are born into a world full of love and safety. Others have to fight for the chance to live.
These four beautiful babies have already overcome more in their short lives than any kitten ever should. 💔 But thanks to a little intervention, an incredibly loving mum, and dedicated rescue care, their story has a much happier ending waiting to happen. 🥹❤️
🌸 THEIR STORY: FROM HEARTBREAK TO HOPE 🌸
When we were alerted to a litter of kittens born in a garden, we rushed to help. Sadly, by the time we arrived, two tiny babies had already passed away. Little Lyra had suffered a wound similar to those that had claimed her siblings, which we believe may have been inflicted by another animal.
We rushed her to our vet, where the wound on her tiny shoulder was glued closed. This precious newborn then needed a week of antibiotics. She was so incredibly small, but she was also a fighter. 💪💗 Lyra made a wonderful recovery, and we couldn't be prouder of her.
Their mum, Xena, had been living in the garden, where people had been feeding her. We discovered this was already her SIXTH litter. Rather than the cycle being stopped, previous kittens had simply been given away to other people, allowing Xena to continue having litter after litter.
Tragically, Xena's sister had also been living outdoors and having repeated litters before being killed on the busy road nearby. 💔
This heartbreaking situation is exactly why rescue, neutering and responsible animal care matter so much. No cat should have to endure this cycle, and no kitten should have to fight for survival from the moment it is born.
We took Xena and her three surviving babies into our care, where they could finally be safe.
And then, as if fate had one more little soul to save, a vet contacted us about a newborn kitten who had been found alone outside and handed in for help.
Our wonderful Xena welcomed this tiny orphan, Zola, as one of her own. She didn't hesitate. She simply made room for one more baby to love. And just like that, their little family became four kittens strong. ❤️
Four tiny lives. So much heartbreak behind them. And now, four beautiful futures waiting to begin. 🐾
🌟 MEET OUR LITTLE SUPERSTARS! 🌟
💙 ZANE (tuxedo) — The Playful Little Charmer
This fun-loving little chap is always ready for an adventure! Zane loves running around, playing with his siblings and turning every moment into fun. But when playtime is over, there's nothing better than a cosy nap with his best friend, Zola. These two are the perfect little pair! 🥰
💗 ZOLA (tabby) — The Beautiful Little Explorer
Gorgeous Zola is as inquisitive as she is playful. She loves a good play fight with Zane and is more than happy to hold her own! But she has a softer side, too. One of her favourite places to snooze is snuggled around her humans' shoulders. Prepare to fall in love! 😻
💜 KYRA (calico) — The Cuddly Little Social Butterfly
Kyra is exceptionally friendly and absolutely adores people. She loves a cuddle, enjoys meeting new faces and is always ready for a game of running, jumping and exploring. She's the kind of kitten who makes you feel special simply by choosing you for a snuggle. 💕
💚 LYRA (calico) — Our Little Green-Eyed Miracle
Our brave little Lyra has come such a long way. From a desperately difficult start to a happy, playful life, this girl has shown just how resilient a tiny kitten can be. She loves spending time with her humans, playing with her best friend Kyra and snuggling down for a well-earned snooze. Her beautiful, fun nature is guaranteed to steal your heart! 🥹💚
🏡 NOW IT'S TIME FOR THEIR HAPPILY EVER AFTER! 🏡
These kittens turned 10 weeks old today, and they are ready to start the next chapter of their lives!
Despite everything they've been through, they are the sweetest, friendliest little souls. They love human company, adore cuddles and are full of playful kitten mischief. They truly are a joy to be around, and each one would bring so much love and laughter to the right family. ❤️
We are looking for loving forever homes for them in their established pairs:
💙 Zane & Zola — the playful best friends who love to romp together and snuggle up for naps.
💚 Lyra & Kyra — two lovely girls who share their days between playful adventures, human cuddles and cosy snoozes.
Their vaccinations begin tomorrow, and they will be ready to leave for their new homes soon after. Their adopters must commit to bringing them back to our vet for their second vaccinations in three weeks.
🌿 A FEW IMPORTANT THINGS ABOUT THEIR NEW HOMES
❤️ We are looking for homes with private gardens away from main roads.
❤️ These kittens will be rehomed in their established pairs, so Zane and Zola must stay together, as must Lyra and Kyra.
❤️ Their new families must be able to provide a lifetime of love, safety, veterinary care and all the cuddles a kitten could ever wish for.
