Our summer timetables are up!

We’e got something for everyone this summer! With Pony Days aimed at those 7+ who can ride and then our Pony Experiences that are aimed at those 4+ or anyone who would like an experience with horses!

Our May Half Term dates are now up!

Theres something for everyone -

if you’ve ridden before or currently ride with us and are over the age of 7, book in for a pony day!

If you’ve never ridden before or are under the age of 7, if your child or family member wants to try riding or is horsey mad but not quite sure on the riding part- then book in for our pony experiences!

We’re based at a friendly yard in Cheshire, Birtles Equestrian on twemlow lane, CW4 8EX.

🐣An Easter Reminder!🐣

🐣This year we’ve got so much on for our Easter Holidays - theres something for everyone!

🥚 Easter Pony Days - for those who can already ride & are aged 7+. These are £60 and last from 9:30am - 4pm
🥚 Easter Parties - for those who can’t ride or haven’t had much time around horses before and would like to experience it! These are for ages 4+ and cost £30. These last from 1pm - 3pm!
🥚 Easter Egg Hunt - for anyone who would like to take part in a big egg hunt in our fields with some of our cheeky ponies! for ages 4+ and costs £30. From 1pm - 3pm.
All dates and information needed are on the posters but please message or call to book as places fill up fast!

🥳 We are offering our party packages! We’ve been hosting a few parties at Birtles Equestrian now over the past year and the reviews have been really encouraging to us to keep them going. A big thankyou to everyone who left us a review about the parties! So if anyone would like to have a horsey themed birthday we can do it!
(Or if anyone wants a horse themed experience we can cater to that too!)

A story about one of our own… Digger!

Skellorn Master Gem is known to all of us at Birtles as Digger, a wonderfully cheeky, intelligent pony that many clients at Birtles have learnt to ride on. Can you believe he’s been with us since 2002?

He’s first to have his story told to everyone who loves all things Birtles— he’s our oldest, our cheekiest and one of the cutest! He’s a testament to how the horses are kept here, with a real focus on the freedoms. He can turn it down a gear for the beginners and step it up to a true speedster with some of the girls who love riding him! And then when Sally gets on him- he could put some of the top dressage horses to shame! He taught Fran how to ride way back in 2008/9 on the lunge too- he’s done it all! He taught us all the importance of saddle fit and got us exploring treeless saddles.

Digger had a real problem with his shoulders and withers- nothing seemed to be working until Sally discovered treeless saddles and tried them with Digger. That paired with her healing has brought him on in leaps and bounds, he truly could not be happier!

Digger is one of the core members of Birtles and always will be- make sure you say hello to him the next time you’re here!

(3/3) For anyone and everyone who wants to do an easter egg hunt with the horses- book in now! for ages 4 and up, you can come along and go hunting in our fields for some eggs hidden by our very own big bunnies! they’ll be joining you on the hunt so make sure you keep your eyes peeled to find any of the eggs!

(1/3) Our Easter Holidays are going to be packed this 2026! Remember our valentines pony party? well it’s back for easter! do you want to try horse riding? have anyone pony mad in your family? (or are you?) if so why not come and book a place in our easter sessions and see if you like it?
at £30 per person its a lovely time- you can groom our lovely, calm ponies or have a ride around on some of our other safe horses at your own pace. your choice!

🎉Party Time!🎉 Yesterday afternoon saw us at Birtles celebrating a little cowgirl’s birthday! Outfitted in the best pink gear - herself and her friends all took part in barrel racing, a hobby horse course and even got to see some of Skye’s party tricks! Then they all got to have their birthday cake and food in our big shed that was decorated for her Western theme! Safe to say it was a lovely party and from all of us at Birtles - Happy Birthday!
