I got to meet the most adorable little pup yesterday, he came for his first visit to a grooming salon and he did really well 🧡💛🤍 A little nervous of the bath and clippers as to be expected for a dog so smol, but he soon settled down and even started falling asleep whilst I was doing some trimming ☺️ Well done Wicket!

I’m so proud of this little man’s progress, we got through the entire groom yesterday without the use of a muzzle! 🥹 I just used it for 2 minutes with his nail clip as a precaution, because I know his paws and nails are his worst trigger, but he only growled at me twice throughout.

The difference from a few short months ago is amazing. I could barely do anything grooming wise with him, he would snap and bite first due to fear of the equipment and bad experiences.

But yesterday I got a little growl as a warning to let me know he was uncomfortable and I redirected to another area until he calmed down.

I’m so glad he now trusts that I’m there to make him comfortable and not hurt him in anyway 🥰🥹
