Well... this was a bit of a shock. 😳

When we started Geared 4 Grooming, we never imagined that less than two years later we'd be nominated for not one, but two Liz Paul Awards.

🚨 CONFESSION TIME... 🚨

For years, I've been living a lie. 😳

I've answered the phone. I've repaired your clippers. I've packed your orders. I've replied to your messages. I've stood behind the G4G show stand. I've sorted warranties. I've hunted down spare parts. I've probably spoken to half of you at some point...

And yet...

A surprising number of people still think my name is... GERARD. 🤣

Apparently, because it's Geared 4 Grooming, some people's brains have decided there must be a bloke called Gerard behind it all.

At this stage, if anyone knows where Gerard is, please let me know. I'd like a day off!!

I hate to break it to you, but there is no Gerard.

Never has been.

It's just me...

So if you've ever called me Gerard, don't worry. You're definitely not the only one. At this point I nearly answer to it myself! 😂

💙 A Little Appreciation Post for Groomers 💙

As groomers ourselves, we know this industry isn't always easy.

The long days, the difficult dogs, the last-minute cancellations, the physical aches and pains, the pressure of running a business while still trying to give every dog your best. Most people outside the industry never truly see what goes on behind the scenes.

That's one of the reasons Geared 4 Grooming exists.

We're not a big corporation sitting in an office. We groom dogs too. We use the tools. We feel the aches. We understand the challenges. Every product we bring in, develop, or recommend is chosen because we genuinely believe it can make a groomer's day a little easier, a little more comfortable, or a little more enjoyable.

So today we simply wanted to say...

Just a quick post to apologise for the delays in replying to messages lately 🙈

Things are extremely busy at the minute with repairs, sorting and packing after the show, organising stock and trying to catch up on everything behind the scenes.

My phone, emails, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp are absolutely flooded with messages at the minute 😅 so please bear with me if replies are slower than normal.
