Smartpaws Dog Training Centre We cater for all Level of Dog Agility training from Foundation to Competition. Introduction to agility starts with obedience and basic obstacle training.

At SmartPaws we encourage all breeds of all abilities to join our training classes. We hold Agility Classes for all levels, plus Obedience Classes and Hoopers at our outdoor Corley Venue (CV7 8BJ)

We also hold Agility Classes at our indoor Fradley venue (WS13 8FX)

Owners and their dogs will build a partnership and develop a relationship in a fun and motivating way. These disciplines develop the

skills in a fun and enjoyable way while providing the groundwork for the next stage.....agility foundation classes. Our classes are then structured to take dogs from foundation to competition stages. You can then move on to Competition class, or just train your dog for fun. We have the expertise to help handlers and dogs move through the grades from beginners (Grade 1) to Champions (Grade 7) and even to International Competitions

We have added Hoopers classes, which is a new emerging Dog sport, for dogs and handlers who need a lower impact sport that dogs absolutely love

We are also available for training days and one-to-one training sessions

Another successful weekend for Smartpaws, with 7 members taking part in the Agility Vision Grand National Finals.
Saturday was the Small & Medium Finals:
Darren Morton ran in the Small Grade 1-4 with Lyra and the Small Grade 5-7 with Pearl.
Sheena Allan-smith ran Mickie & Gilbert in the Small Grade 5-7.
Mary Williams ran Tess in the Medium Grade 1-4 and with a fantastic run came 3rd.

Today was the Intermediate & Large Finals:
Charley Ritson ran Myla in the Intermediate Grade 1-4
Mary Williams ran Belle in the Intermediate Grade 1-4
Sheena ran Maisie in the Intermediate Grade 1-4
Chloe Jones ran Star (on behalf of Alan Flynn ) in the Intermediate Grade 5-7
Karen Jones ran Blitz in the Grade 1-4 Large
Jackie Gardner ran Tyler in the Large Grade 5-7 and with a fantastic run came 2nd, only missing out on 1st place by 0.7 seconds

We also had some very heartbreaking news while we were away.
Very sadly Charley's Missie became very unwell just after they arrived at DIN, and we were all heartbroken to hear that Charley had to say her final goodbye to her beautiful girl.
Our thought are with Charley and her family at this sad time ###

What a fantastic week our Smartpaws Dog Training Centre members had at Dogs in Need Agility Show in 2026.
We were not only very successful at the Agility, but we also had successes in the Bingo, winning £240 and the quiz, winning £70.
Laura Warwick and Blossom won the medium Championship ticket. We got 9 dogs through to the Classic finals, resulting in 4 podium places, 3 of which were 1st places.
We had 2 very young dogs competing, both had a brilliant time competing and both qualified in first place overall in their category of the Classic Tournament (Collette Guy and Pixel, Alan Gardner and Jelly Bean)
We had 2 of our members judging and they both set fantastic courses, and received so many compliments from the competitors, with the rest of the SmartPaws crew doing ring party.
We had an hilarious games evening outside, under cover, in a torrential thunderstorm.
All in all it was just a great week of agility and fun with our friends.

Well done to Collette & Pixel who ran in the classic finals today at DINAS. This is Pixels first RKC show and at the age of just 18 months qualified top of the leaderboard to get into the final👏🏼👏🏼
The final took place in the main ring and there were lots of spectators, but she ran very well, but did pick up an unfortunate elimination.
