In our recent obedience class, we worked on “place” and “settle” training with the dogs.

This type of training builds a valuable real-life skill: calmness under control.

Benefits of place & settle work:
• Teaches dogs how to relax on cue
• Builds impulse control and patience
• Reduces jumping, pacing, and overexcitement
• Helps dogs cope better with distractions
• Improves behaviour in the home and public settings
• Creates more confident, settled dogs overall

Next class:
Our next obedience class starts on Sunday at 1:00–1:55pm 🐾

If you want a calmer, more focused dog in real-world situations, this is exactly where to start.

Week 3 and things are really starting to click! 🐾

We’ve moved on from single obstacles to linking sequences with bigger spacing, and it’s been amazing watching the dogs start to understand movement, direction, and flow. The teamwork is building every week.

The videos genuinely don’t do these teams justice — I really need to get better at filming because so many of the amazing moments accidentally miss the camera!

If you’d like to get started with agility, I’ve got a 4-week beginner agility class starting in Coleraine on Friday 5th June, 7:05–7:55pm. Perfect for building foundations, confidence, and having fun with your dog.

1-2-1 session with Sadie: sharpening recall and strengthening that off-lead trust, one rep at a time.

If recall is something your dog finds hard, I can help!
Why not try a 1-2-1 session?

We will also learn recall in my 4 week obedience class starting Sunday 7th June 1-1:55pm.

Message me to secure your space. VERY LIMITED spaces remaining 💬
