☀️HEATSTROKE SYMPTOMS☀️

Signs of heatstroke can progress quickly. If you think your dog may have heatstroke it is vital that you immediately contact your vet while cooling them down. Getting early advice and treatment is essential to saving a dog’s life. Research has found that in the UK, although 1 in 7 dogs that are taken to vets with heatstroke die, 98% that are seen early with mild signs are likely to survive.

Know the signs, don’t risk your dogs life and remember if in doubt, don’t go out ☀️

Just a quick reminder of the cancellation policy 🐶

Jago's Pet Boutique and Spa kindly requests at least 48 hours notice in the event of a cancellation or rescheduled appointment.
Charges will apply to any appointment cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment time.

Appointments cancelled with less then 48 hours notice will be CHARGED 50% of the full groom cost.
Appointments cancelled within 24 hours notice will be CHARGED the full groom cost.

Please note my opening times are 9am - 6pm any enquires outside of these hours will be seen to the next day.

The sunshine is back & it's super hot outside today 🌞 Just a reminder NOT TO walk your dogs in the heat especially before their grooming appointments 🐶 It is really important that dogs DO NOT attend their grooming appointments exhausted. If any dog is deamed exhausted on arrival I will have no choice but to refuse the groom. 😔
The salon is fully air conditioned so the temperature will be nice and cool ❄️ However heat exhaustion can happen almost instantly & be fatal.

Its warming up guys! 🌞 Rumour has it that the weather is warming up over the next few days 🌞 As much as I love a bit of vitamin D ❤️ May I please remind you all NOT TO walk your dogs in the heat especially before their grooming appointments 🐶 It is really important that dogs DO NOT attend their grooming appointments exhausted. If any dog is deamed exhausted on arrival I will have no choice but to refuse the groom. 😔
The salon is fully air conditioned so the temperature will be nice and cool ❄️ However heat exhaustion can happen almost instantly & be fatal.
Please take precautions when the weather warms up.
