This is my Daisy. Her coat is thick with tight curls and I love it when it gets long as she's like a big cuddly teddy bear 🧸 It had become quite scruffy recently as I've not had the time to groom her as often as I'd like, so I was going to give her a little tidy up to keep the length, but neaten. The past few days however I've noticed her struggling with the heat. So even though I prefer it long (I always think her long legs look super skinny when she's clipped right back! 🤭), I made the decision to put her comfort first and clip down the coat to a short length which will help her to feel much more comfortable in this heat 🥵
So, if you want to alter the length of the cut for the summer, this is not a problem at all. Please don't think you may come across as being picky. On the contrary, I see you being a caring owner looking out for your pet. Welfare over vanity. Hair will grow back 🐶🐾

Happy Monday everyone! I'm still on a high after going to see Take That this weekend on their Circus tour. If you're planning on going, let me tell you, you will not be disappointed! What a show! 🎪

Please remember as with all heatwaves, you can always reschedule your appointment if you have any concerns. Remember it's not just about the sun either, it's the ground too. I will of course keep a close eye on each dog in my care but if you wish to reschedule please just let me know as soon as you can and we will look at other available dates

☆ Salon back open Monday ☆

I've had a lovely birthday and even managed to have 3 days away in the sun with a couple of friends 🌞 So with the vitamin D from the sun and the chill time with friends, I feel much more like myself again and ready to get back up and running. Thank you to those of you who sent me get well wishes and I'll see you Monday, nice and fresh and ready for my little friends 🐶🐾

So I've been back in the salon since Wednesday, but if I'm honest it looks like I may have gone back a little too soon as I've really struggled this week. Luckily I'd already booked a few days out of the salon for next week for my birthday so I plan to rest up as much as I can and get myself fit and well again. For this reason, I've decided to switch on Do Not Disturb for next week. I won't see any messages until I return on 15th June. Hopefully you will all understand and I'll see you on the 15th 🐶🐾
