I completely understand that it's the summer holidays and routines change, but I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know as soon as possible if you're unable to make your appointment.

This week alone I've had two no-shows and one very late collection, and it has a significant impact on my business.

As I work on a one-to-one basis, if a dog isn't collected on time, it delays every appointment after that. If you don't turn up for your appointment, I don't earn anything for that time. It's especially frustrating when I have other clients waiting for appointments who could have taken that slot if I'd had enough notice.

To keep things fair for everyone, my policy is:
🐾 Two no-shows or repeated late arrivals/collections will result in no further appointments being booked.

I know this may seem strict, but this is my business and it's what supports my family. I'm sure most people wouldn't be happy going to work without being paid, and it's no different for a small business.

Thank you to all my wonderful clients who always communicate and respect my time—it really is appreciated. ❤️

The beautiful Betsy at her groom today. Betsy is a many tears rescue and is still very nervous. So today her owner and I agreed that the best groom for her would be a trim and brushing out all the lose fur (there was a lot) and she had a lovely bath and towel dry. We didn't use the driers today as we didn't think she'd cope with the noise and air blowing on her. Not doing a full groom is Okay. I'd always rather take small steps and build the trust than pushing them over what they can cope with and make groom a scary thing.

It was a super busy week so not many photo's taken but here are the few I did get. Just a reminder to book your next app...
